My go-to browser for ipad. Coupled with a keyboard, it is the perfect browser to check sites and news each day.

So many useful features along the bottom of each webpage (search, zoom, forward, back, etc., etc.) Excellent browser utility!

As a vimium user for years, I’ve been searching for a alternative in ipadOS for years, until I finally find this! It’s really a fantastic browser for anyone who like to use keyboard to control browser instead of pointing here and there again and again. Given that, there’re still two feature requests 1) Can you provide an option to hide the keystroke hint bar at the very bottom of this app? iPad’s screen size is very limited and every pixel counts! 2) Can you support to import bookmarks from chrome?

It’s a decent start Here are some suggestions: - You should compile vim into the app so you can edit the config in app - The help (which takes you to you website) shows EDIT in the address bar... I found myself confused if I could edit my key bindings on this screen or not - /search zooms you around. It’s very disorienting * Whats worse is that there’s no way out of it on the keyboard (that I can find) which takes me to the next thing - Let me bind escape to something like capslock - The tab bar to show you navigation shortcuts - man... it zooms in... it’s hyper irritating to me (but I havn’t slept so I’m more irritable today) - You should check out qutebrowser for a vim browser... they’re doing a lot of things right. I’m going to try to compile that for my ipad - The navigation shortcuts are 2 digit numbers, you should weight the digits it selects to near the home row for speed - The navigation shortcuts are odd... I can’t put my finger on why but some links have a bunch of them, some don’t have any... kind of strange to me - You should check out blinkshell and see how you’re able to mosh or ssh into a server and use vim on the ipad for reference for how it should feel - There are no movement modifiers * f3Lan would find the 3rd set of “Lan” strings * vim lets you navigate buffers by %. so 25% takes you 25% through the buffer * It seems like the ONLY way to navigate is hjkl - Anyone who just uses hjkl to navigate in vim hasn’t used vim that long... I hope this helps, it’s awesome that this is the 1st vim browser in the store, keep it up! I’m excited and would pay for a good one, ESPECIALLY with a shell in. If that were a thing it must include fonts because people who live their life in the termnal have their shell environments setup with patched fonts to add glyphs to their terminal.
