Gem - Money tracker

Hab davor onepeek benutzt, und das ist zwar eigentlich ganz gut aber hatte relativ wenig Funktionen. Diese App ist wirklich gut ausgebaut! Für den Preis auch super. Musste mich durch den Tal der Subscription-based Apps wühlen, bis ich es dann endlich zu diesem „Gem“ geschafft habe. Ich muss mich noch etwas einfinden, aber ich finde sie soweit wirklich toll!

The app looks really great and already has lots of useful functions. But what would be perfect for my partner and me would be to have an overview of who has paid how much. It would also be great to have an option to specify whether the expense is shared and who has paid. Then you would always know who owes how much to whom. That way it would be the perfect app!

I really, really like this app from an UI and user experience perspective! It is really smooth to use and in line with other native Apple apps and very minimalistic yet powerful to analyse your data. I would love to give 5 stars but for me this app lacks some major functionalities other competitors offer. Namely my major issues: - Add a „title“ field on top of the current „note“ field which acts as the identifier - Add a „location“ field to quickly identify where you spent which money - Add a „group“ field which you can use in addition to the category for vacations and other events - timed bookings between two bank accounts If these changes would be implemented, this app would nearly be perfect! Thank you for creating it!

but no macOS Version and a confusing UI

Great app to simply log expenses. Easy to use and beautiful design. Categories help to track where you are spending how much of your money. Only thing I would hope for is an iPad app.

First of all, thank you soo much for creating this app. It is beautiful and buttery smooth. There is a search button when you press on an expense but it doesn’t do anything. I tried exporting then importing but it didn’t show the imported expenses.

Easy to use, not an outdated design like many other finance apps, beautiful widgets. I am missing the feature to add a name or a note to an entry. Otherwise it will not be possible to remember what the payment was for. You can choose and create new categories, but I don’t want to create the categories “apple music” and “netflix” but put them under category “subscrptions” and make them distinguishable by a note/name.

Hey there! I’ve been searching for a solid budgeting/tracking app, and I think Gem might just be the one. I really value good design over an overload of features, and your app nails it. The UI is stunning—seriously, great job to you! Love the currency and foreign currency feature as well! That said, while the app looks amazing, I think the UX could use a bit of polish to make it more intuitive. Sometimes it gets a little confusing. For instance, when I added my stock portfolio as an account, it wasn’t obvious that I needed to add it to tracking to set the balance. That aside, the app is fantastic, and your hard work really shows. As a developer myself, I know how hard it can be to get actionable feedback. If you ever need more details or specific input, I’d be happy to help!
