While planning an upcoming trip to the big island, I wanted some information on volcanoes. This app provided a nice glossary of terms, accompanying photos/videos, and an explanation. This is not an overview of the national park.

Got this after visiting the volcano and wish we had it while we were there to not only compare and learn, but hear how it should be pronounced. Great app

Great resource for understanding the geology of volcanoes more generally and in Hawaii specifically. Having a native speaker of Hawaiian pronounce the names of the volcanoes on the island of Hawaii,as well as commonly used Hawaiian terms for volcanic features, is especially helpful.
