Get Flare

Absolute garbage. Literally just got the bracelet in the mail today and it doesn’t work. It looks like it’s already been used because it’s scratched up too. Even though it’s broken straight out of the package, you don’t get your shipping refunded AND you have to pay to have it shipped back. Great first impression. What a scam.

Bracelet never worked. App never moved off second screen. No support. Horrible product. Save your money.

I have owned this product for at least 4 months. It’s Defective and neither I or one of the Flare employees was able to get it working. I was told to wait while the engineers looked to see if it was part of a Defective Batch.. I was told that it had been reset, but you guessed it.. Nothing !! The employee who contacted me, No Longer Responds to email or voicemail and the General number for the company is constantly Busy !! I’m Totally Beside Myself.. I Don’t Know What Else to Do !! So here I sit with a product that Still Does Not Work and Never Has .. I have asked for a replacement but again.. Nothing.. Customer Torture ..

Don’t even bother with Flare. The jewelry itself looks cheap, the app never synced with the device, and customer service gives you the runaround instead of helping solve any problems.

When I first ordered the setup was super easy and it worked every time I did the fake phone call, but after a month it took a few tries to get the fake phone call. Then it eventually stopped working completely. After 2 weeks of going back and forth with customer service through email I got a replacement and it connected to the app but won’t send out the texts to my “crew” or send me a phone call. I’ve uninstalled the app 3 times and tested out all their phone numbers but still nothing.

I ordered one which works great. I liked it so much I ordered another one in a different style so I could change the bracelet depending on the occasion. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the second one to work so they sent a replacement. That one didn’t work either so I returned it for a refund. The refund was promptly processed which is great. If you have a problem u have to fill out a form and you get a stock email reply. There really isn’t a live customer service call center. I did finally come across a telephone # which I called and left a message but no call back. I am happy with the first one I got which works great.

Would be really nice to have the option to import my own voice memo to use for the fake call, that way I could make it much more realistic for myself

This app and bracelet does not work!!! I’ve been working with “customer support” for the past 3 weeks and nothing has been resolved. They even sent the help request to their “system engineer” but guess what? I had to email and check the status after not hearing from anybody for a week and there was still no resolution except to send it back and get an exchange. Well, that’s even been a problem because I’ve moved. And after Katherine “updated” their system with my new address, Flare doesn’t recognize the order to do an exchange. If you try calling their help number, no one answers and no messages are returned. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and if this is a representation of how their bracelet works, DO NOT BUY. At this point, I’m thinking the whole bracelet is a fraud and scam! Going forward, I will not be recommending this to my clients ever again!

I love how customizable Flare is. From choosing what number Flare calls me from to choosing what recording is played back during the phone call. Onboarding was very easy, it walked me through all the features. It’s awesome that if you do choose to turn on 911 the dispatcher will call you and it gives you a chance to give them more information.

The app keeps crashing and won’t move past the “send $20” screen. I’ve spoken to the company but they keep telling me to get a different bracelet. It’s the app. Super frustrating.
