GHOST TRICK: Phantom Detective

In my opinion I love the ghost trick part and the story I’m thinking of buying the full game because it is really good for the first two chapters and also has a lot of content for it too this is my first review on a game in the App Store and that shows that it is at least a good puzzle game and story. (Excuse my terrible grammar)

I thought there was a bug at first in chapter 14 but I was really just an idiot and forgot that I could spin the globe climber again.

This is a phenomenal game created by the same people who made Ace Attorney. Some of the scenes were a bit tricky so I had to use walkthroughs to get through them, but otherwise, this is such an amazing game with a very convoluted and fantastic story. I can’t give it a higher rating.

I remember being in junior high, 12years or 13years old, and somehow stumbling upon this game and being totally engrossed by it. I broke my phone and had totally forgot the name of the game and I have quite literally been haunted by never having completed it. Now I’m an adult with a salary and a 401(k), and I was thinking one night about this game that I played once when I was a kid over a decade ago and how it was really complex and interactive and engaging and had a really clever and unique premise, and I started searching on google one last time to see if I could find it and somehow or another…After all these years… I found it!!!! This GEM. Not only the nostalgia I felt in the first couple chapters, but coming to find out that there were almost 15 more brilliant plot driven chapters for me to play!!!???? My jaw was on the floor. I bought the whole game, you’d be hard pressed to find anything that’s better out there. There is clearly so much care that went into the story and the world. The colors and design of the world and characters and I just can’t explain how absolutely clever the play of the game is too, it’s so original and fun and really captivating. I apparently had a really good taste for things when I was a kid… I am going to be actively going out of my way to recommend this game to people, it’s just so perfect. I just finished the last chapter and when I tell you it had me in tears… it had me in TEARS. I don’t want to spoil it but OHHHH MY GOD just.. wow. To the character development, the twists and turns, the reveal, the increasingly challenging play.. AHHHH. The game is perfect, it really is. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project it’s been a wild ride that’s taken me 10years to complete which is a little poetic if you ask a certain house pet. <3

Just got into this randomly this Saturday morning and wow, I spent my whole day playing. The story really does pull you in. It has the hallmark of those truly classic mystery games from the DS era - a simple mechanic, that get repeated, doubled, layered, and subverted. The plot was really engaging and the characters are complicated, the stakes serious, but it never lacks in goofy moments and silly jokes. Played on a iPhone 12 Pro Max running iOS 16, no problems with the port!

Really fun mechanics, smooth on ios, intriguing writing with a healthy balance of humor and a serious story. Also, my personal favorite sidekick in any game I’ve played. All around, the game was great and I wish it was longer. I’ve never recommended a game to a friend before, but this makes a first

Nintendo direct gave me a memory I forgot I had… loved this game so much

Honestly I love this game but the cutscenes kinda just drag on too long kinda eliminating any gameplay time. But beside the waiting time 9.5/10 I love this game

Everyone should play this game

I liked this game back on my old iphone and purchased all the chapters in 2013. Now I’ve moved back to iphone after many years and my purchases are not recognized. I have confirmation emails from iTunes on my purchases. It’s a great game other than that.
