Amazing
I want to make a gif from art I saved in a file external to iPhoto library but this app refuses to look anywhere else on my iPad file system. I can't use my art to make a gif. What's the point of the gif making portion of this app if you can't use your art?
This app works fine if you simply wish to change live images into gifs for example , choose the image size , one of 6 various speeds, and add short large text in a variety of colors and a handful of fonts, but the size of the text itself is u changeable- each font has one preset size that cannot be pinched or zoomed to fit as you want it to, and while the text presets are quite large for being unchangeable or adjustable so if you have more than two or three very short words , your entire gif is now covered top to bottom side to side in a font that is probably going to be kinda difficult to make out properly without eye strain or enhanced phone contrast levels turned up to view the gif- if there are multiple moving colors in the body of your gif, be it animated or live action video, these presets are for the most part on the undefinable side, having lines too thin and not fonts Designed to stand out , highly defined, with bolder opaque line work & crisp edges that will stand out and be visible against the moving images in the background video, while ALSO being small enough and formatted in ways so that the bulk of the main gif video background is easy to watch without key parts being obscured by the gif text , so you should both be able to clearly see and comprehend the important portions of the background video while simultaneously not having to struggle to try to figure out what the text says while the video is playing behind it- The failure of this app to provide that satisfactorily was to me the major downfall of the app, although nothing this basic is useful for my needs on most occasions, the fact that it couldn’t even manage e to apply the few tools that it DID offer practically PERFECTLY to me is enough for me to leave this off my list of the gif apps I’m always suggesting to people I know who want to make something super easy on a completely beginner level that comes out beautifully, and is easy to use. So yes it wasn’t a “BAD” app it just wasn’t a “GOOD” one. Lol
I purchased GifLab a while ago and loved it ever since, quick renders and rarely any time the app crashes. Has a few bugs from time to time with rendering certain videos, nothing a quick app restart or phone restart wouldn’t fix. Never disappoint with quality of gifs as well! + always loved the addition for gifs to vids conversion tool! Overall awesome app, highly recommended
Scuzzy ads you have to sit through and huge, unremovable watermark on the result
Way over priced for absolutely nothing.
Why does a gif creation app need to know a user’s age? I read the TOS and the answer is that this app is selling user data to EVERYONE. View it yourself. It’s a long list. They’re collecting your age to help with the data they’re selling to advertisers. Deleted.
What the heck is the matter with the App store???!!!!!! The subscription model has to die. Apple please protect people. $3.99 maybe. But $45. Go F your self !!!!!
Can’t access all photos
