Spent 45 min just trying to give them my money. I was never able to sign up. Such a shame. But now I guess is makes sense why we saw full bike stations and very few people riding them. NOT IDEAL FOR TOURISTS!

App keeps saying the user already exists. Even when I try it multiple emails. Then when I try to login, it says the user doesn’t exist, invalid credentials. Can be both now, can it? It’s ridiculous. This is so buggy. I can’t believe anyone actually uses it.

I didn’t even get beyond the sign up stage. Keeps saying that user already exists, no matter what email, name or phone number I enter. When trying to recover a password, I then get a message that the record doesn’t exist. So which is it??

Do not invest in this, it steals your subscription money and doesn’t let you use their bikes. The Gira app has some major problems that they seem unable to fix (been trying to notify them for the last 2 years about it) and it causes it to leave you on foot, unable to take a bike when you need it. I pay the annual fee and make sure all is in line, but then 50% of the time the app lets me down and you can’t take available bikes. It gets stuck and there is no fixing it. Basically Gira/EMEL steal your money.

The service is nice the app was done by amateurs. You can’t report a broken bike. You take the bike back and doesn’t cancel the trip, etc. it’s not that hard, just look at a proper app from another country and copy it. It’s really not having pride in your work

Asks for infinite personal information and then doesn’t work. Scrap the whole thing and start over

Finally got app to work, then birth date not accepted and locked out of app even after logout/login. Now I know why I have seen no one riding these bikes. It’s a shame because lots of bikes just sitting there.

This app interface is not user friendly whatsoever. Extremely confusing and frustrating. Hopefully the actual bike experience is enjoyable but this app made us hesitant about trying it. Very hard to know what to do. Verification email went to spam folder and TIN is essentially a unique code you create instead of a username. A ridiculous €300 hold on your card for each day you want to ride for a €2 bike ride. I understand it’s an expensive bike but still. You have to “top off” your balance at a minimum of 5 euros. If it doesn’t go thru right away DONT do it again, it just takes time.
