Great editor app, wish there were more options for editing relations
Is handy to add data to open street maps.
I’ve tried using some other OSM editors but Go Map! Has proved to be the best out there for me - it’s almost intuitive to use (once you remember many things in OSM are done via tags) and works very well for on the fly edits. I’d pay for it if I had to, and would dearly like to contribute something to the developer, it’s that good!
lol, I'm not sure what that other reviewer is going on about, but it is after all a mapping application, like maybe it should have your location. The developer collects no data so I guess yeah, good call weirdo. Also the developer's name is right there
It’s like iD, but with a reasonably native feel, reasonable performance, and a pretty good GPS track recording feature. I have no idea how to export a GPX, but I don’t really need to given how much I can do on a phone. Perfect for mapping while playing Ingress: you spot a missing thing on Ingress’s OSM-based map, switch to this app, done. The only issue (minus the relation limitations — well you don’t expect to do everything) is that iOS likes to mess up your GPX tracks with network-derived locations.
Great even simply as a standalone app for viewing Open Street Map’s public GPX traces. I’ve used this countless times to find new trail routes that are unmarked on Google or other major maps but are frequented (based on the visible GPX tracks) by hikers. This makes it a nice and decent open alternative to Strava for finding popular routes.
Amazing interface for editing OSM on mobile! Ver intuitive and easy to use.
Go Map is convenient for adding features on the go/in the field. One can edit offline and upload later. I have used it for 2+ y in East Africa adding and editing. Main drawback is very few “amenity” options are available, at least in Tanzania. (There is no option for “bridge” that I can find, for example.)
I think I’m actually faster at creating data on this app then the website itself. Also has a GPS track feature which you can enable as needed or always.
