Go-tcha Evolve

Had it for a few days and just won’t stay connected! Lucky to get more than a few minutes connection.

As in other reviews. No mechanism to update aside from ‘automagically’ which means no guaranteed firmware update. As a result, gotcha evolve no workie either.

It downloads really fast and I was quite happy about that and got set up fast as well. But sometimes it keeps disconnecting from Pokémon go so if you could fix that it would be really good. Overall I give this 5 stars.

I find the settings are constantly changing and to change the settings back to how you want isn’t easy even by using the app. I wish they actually had a settings button on the app would make life so much easier and would solve my only issue I have with this device.

I didn't touch it at all, but it constantly changes setting itself. Connection not very stable it's understandable but keep vibrating when I have it option set off ?? WD ? And it keeps changing setting itself, does my got-cha getting hacked ??

Don’t waste your money. Connected and worked for 20 minutes. Now states Pokémon in range but doesn’t catch any of them. Been like this all day. Restarted, disconnected Bluetooth, auto catch on. Did everything. Doesn’t pair unless you keep pressing forget this device and trying again. Keep your money have fun watching your screen saying Pokémon in range then going for the catch and missing every single one hundreds of times

Not impressed. Randomly, my preferences are changed and the app won’t connect when I’m away from home in order to change them back. How do I return to the old software? It was much better!

I’m lucky if this stays connected for 6 minutes, the average is anywhere between 2 and 6. 15 mins is the longest. Also if it doesn’t drop out I get a notification that the session has ended well before the hour it’s supposed to last. Again that’s 2 to 6 minutes

I have an old gotcha and it works amazing but upgraded to the evolve and it won’t stay connect once I lock my screen. I’ve tried repairing disconnecting everything. Stays connected if the screen isn’t closed? The game and app have all the write permissions. On a side note is there a difference between the blue and pink screen when the evolve is hard reset?

This app is maybe faulty or so simple I can’t work it out .. nothing happens, evolve works on pogo but app can’t find it ..
