App complains a 4MB log file is too large to open…
I’ve used this app for all of about an hour, but I’m loving the improvements over the free apps. I just have one request, please make switch blocks compressible(i.e closing code block by pressing line number or arrow) both on the switch line, and each individual case as well. Something like 1>switch(condition) { 2>case 1: 3 // do something 4 break; 5>case 2: 6 // do something 7 break; 8>default: 9 break; 10 }
It Is probably me, but this is the most geeky editor I have come across in my many decades of programming. Can’t find a humanly readable manual or decent intro that does not start with ‘URL-Scheme, x-callback-URL’. Tried to connect to OneDrive which gives me two directories (Documents and Photos) that are not mine and are empty. I have no idea how to work this app.
This is an excellent text editor for iOS. Has pretty much all the features I want, it is fast, and it looks good! However, my two feature requests are as follows (to earn 5 stars): 1) We already have the ability to have files open in tabs, but I want to be able to have two tabs shown side-by-side for editing one whilst looking at another. 2) The ability to paste SSH keys to import them from other apps (e.g. from Blink)
I am using this application for learning web development in my commuting time on the train. Without it I would have to be lugging around a laptop to achieve the same outcome. It is excellent so far and even able to smoothly connect Google drive to the application to minimise files kept on my device. The interface and operation is quite intuitive. Thank you and keep up the good work. For the subscription price I am very impressed.
I’ve tried a variety of programs in this category and GoCodeEdit is the most impressive. I’m able to SSH into my VPS and code in Python & Golang. I can then test and run these programs from within the app. Amazing! The user interface is surprisingly friendly given the amount of screen you’ve got to work with on an iPhone. Take the time to learn the features and you won’t be displeased. Nice to see the developer constantly improving this app. Great work.
This is a frear editor, the navigation features are simply amazing and revolutionary. It also include a mini shell that you can use to shh onto your servers. The only missing thing is code completion.
This is a great code editor - Good syntax - Can import/export from iCloud and other locations - Works great on the iPad Pro Suggestions to improve - snippets - ability to edit multiple selections at once
My teams workflow, we do everything on the server… I know, I know, git commit push pull… Not in a wordpress shop. This is fantastic for loading up all of your SFTP client server accounts for easy access and simple editing of their style.css or functions.php. The addition of our standard color themes for the IDE is nice to make it universal feel to set your VSCode or Nova/Panic IDE similarly. I’m so excited about this I’m probably not even making sense. This is it. I’ve purchased all of the expensive guys, Txtastic, Co da, all of them, this is worth every penny.
Needed something to quickly edit some files on my home server from my iPad. Took a chance on this app, and did not regret it. It’s simple, useful (brings me right to my last connection upon launch), and beautiful. Thank you.
