I have used this app for some months and generally, when a taxi is booked it does arrive. The interface of the app is simple and it is easy to make the bookings. The one problem I have faced is that at busy times, taxis are not always available. The app does not notify the user of a taxi running late, or even if it has been allocated. Availability of taxis in London is currently a huge issue and very common across all taxi companies operating in the city. While that situation is frustrating, I do not wish to downvote this app because of driver shortages. In the end, when the drivers are available this app is a quick way of quickly making a booking.
Very disappointed to have my car - booked days in advance - cancelled 20 mins beforehand. Was really relying on the service. And the reason given was unacceptable. Thought I’d found a service I could trust. I was mistaken.
Ok I tried using this app after a year or so and The app is faulty. The only thing that worked after loading and showing a bug error page, was my card details being registered. Now I can book a can, I just got a quote for a ride that is DOUBLE the price of other taxi companies??? This is a bug aswell right? As I used to get competitive prices. No cash option and I do not trust that I will be charged the correct fare If i try to use my card, I cannot rely on this I will not try. Go back to the old system and it will be fine. Thanks
I have been using Goldline for many years and only recently updated and started using the app. I have always preferred Goldline as I know I can rely on them to take me where I need to, if I have connections, stops and returns always best to call in but otherwise I like that I am told of the driver, car details and can track the ride for my children when they use the service. Always friendly staff that are honest about timings, routes etc and care given if needed help with shopping etc.
These guys are scam artists. They will charge you « waiting fee » if the driver leaves early on purpose to pick you up at the airport. For example your flights lands at noon, you make booking for 12:45, if the driver arrives at airport at 12:15, they will charge you 30 min waiting fee even if you come out to pick up point on time at 12:45 and they will threaten you to drop you back in middle of ride if you disagree. Disgusting unprofessional behaviour.
