Overall good game.
I believe you are playing against the computer thru Tour 2.
When you first start playing, this game seems like it had a lot of potential. It’s basically a clone of every other golf game, but with different clubs and courses and such. Once you get far enough into it though, you realize it’s not up to par with the others. You need literally thousands of coins to upgrade clubs, but you win a measly 75 or so per match. Most of the games are against bots, and the odds are stacked against you. Your opponent will either find a miraculous line through the trees without the wind touching the ball, or they’ll get the most fortunate bounce possible. Their ball will bounce and roll towards the hole in a tiebreaker, but you can hit the same spot and bounce the other way. I’ve been out driven by opponents with much lesser clubs, just so they could reach the green, whereas my target was on the green but came up well short. You can tell it’s a boy match because the pictures are all stock, the avatar changes mid game, and before the camera pans back to the avatar, they will already be in full back swing. Their putts also don’t follow the line for the putt aiming either. The wind is very unpredictable: it might blow your ball over the green at 1.6mph, or it won’t move it side to side at all. I also think whoever designed the holes has never played golf before. A par 3 that plays 300 yards from the front tees? Nope. Edit: the bots have either made a hole in one or holed out from the fairway 5 times in a row now, making it impossible to win. Second edit: done with this game! Had a chip that showed the shot line going right in. Hit the chip, the ball landed and bounced 45 degrees to the right, bounced again 45 degrees left to magically go right around the hole. It was like it hit a force field! If the game is going to cheat, that’s a no from me dawg.
The game is great, I like how you have scouting setup. The big issue is the Daily Pins. If you go to a shootout, even if you win, you don’t get credit for a daily pin and as someone who picked up the premium, that feels like a waste of money. Regardless of shootout, you should get a daily pin if you finish with a win or a tie on the hole before the shootout. You should DEFINITELY get one if you win the shootout.
Game is very fun but it should have better match making and better course layouts. Why make a hole 800 yards where you literally go from rough to rough just to make the green. Fun but v that kinda stuff makes me want to delete
Easy to learn, hard to master! So much fun, easily the best golf game I’ve ever played!
Good game, good controls, looks great. Would be a great game if you could actually play golf instead of only 1v1 matches. The courses look upper fun but who cares of you only get to play one hole.
I have played this game now for a couple of weeks. I will never get to the tournament game because it is so expensive. It is very expensive to upgrade clubs and equipment. I really like the game play and graphics are good. The payouts are just not enough in comparison to what everything cost. Even if you pay real money it’s still so expensive. I am not afraid to pay to play but this game is crazy.
Ok, let’s start with the good: Gameplay: it’s nice. Mostly borrows from other games but feels clean. Putting is unique here but once you get used to it actually might be a bit too easy. Vs Modes: There’s a pay2enter tournament and a free2enter versus where you only participate against people who have reached the same rank as you, so no smurfing. Very good. You also cannot lose gold in the regular versus mode, which is nice compared to some of the other golf games Now for the bad. First, the game REALLY wants you to pay money for it. They made premium currency CHEAP for real money payers and NEARLY UNOBTAINABLE for f2p players, so the difference in progression, stats, clubs… etc between the 2 are heaven and earth. Second, the game has some bad glitches around tie breaks. Tie breaks are a Closest Wins shot. It will give the winner their trophies, however, it won’t tally anything from the hole you played before the tie break, which is a problem because you get extra coins from perfects shots, birdies, eagles… etc, and it also won’t count those birdies and eagles toward missions you have to complete a certain number of them. So the only way to complete a mission of getting 5 birdies is to get the birdies or better without going to a tiebreak. Third, the tournaments are prohibitively expensive for f2p players with the cheapest “Newbie” tournament starting at 8,500 gold for the entry fee. By the time you are Tier 5 1v1 and eligible for the 2nd tier of tournament, your are only making around 100 gold per win, with an additional 75 gold every 5 wins and the best golf bags that take half a day to unlock having around 500 gold. Saving up that much gold and not using any of it to upgrade clubs is a very tall order.
This game could be fun but about every 3-4 match it won’t let me do anything but AIM. I click back and forth, I move my AIM, nothing works and time just runs out. No need to keep a game I can’t play. Deleted!
