Great Game, Unfortunately Under-Appreciated
If you’ve tried many of the current crop of Solitaire games, you’ve no doubt experienced frustration. Too many ads. Too many money-grubbing rigged levels. I’ve lost track of how many I’ve tried for a while and deleted. This little gem has mostly inconspicuous ads or on the not too frequent occasion when they take over the screen, you have the option of silencing them or even clicking to close them. The graphics are old school and basic, but who needs all those whiz bang special effects anyway? What thus game DOES have that is appealing in the newer games is a large variety of layouts, and you are simply competing against yourself on each tableau. The sounds, if enabled, are really cute. There’s absolutely no attempt to extract money, virtual or real, from you. It’s almost like - gasp! - playing with a real deck of cards except that you do have the option of requesting a playable deal. What’s not to like?
