If you want to know strokes gained, this is the best free app you’ll find. If you want to know your yardages for each club or have gps, this isn’t for you. It does what it does very well, which is why I love this app.

This app tracks all the stats I want and it’s completely free. You can export stats if you want to do your own calculations. It’s a simple interface and well executed. It does not have gps but that’s not what I was looking for, I just wanted something to easily track stats with a simple interface and this app fits the bill nicely. Most, if not all other apps require a subscription to get the advanced stats that this app gives you for free. Definitely recommend!

This app gives you exactly what you need without any fluff. I get to track my stats and get what I need. This app is great.

This app is pretty great. I love the metrics it gives you when tracking shot by shot. I would give it 5 stars except for a major defect in the putting metrics. I track by yards, and on the green it asks you how many feet away you are. At the end of the round it saves the data and calculates the metrics. Everything is good except the putting metrics think the feet distance I entered for putts on the green are meters! So if I one putt a 12 foot putt it shows that I sank a 12 meter (35 foot!) putt. Fix this and the app is easy 5 stars, though a report showing distance by club instead of distance to hole would be really nice. As it is, you need to do math to know how each hit was, i.e., how long you drove it off the tee, or how long you hit your 7 iron, etc.

Only thing I have against it is most of the courses I play don’t have updated scorecards. Strokes gained metrics look great though!

Are there other apps that do this? Yes. Are they free? No. Can you pay for technology to do it for you? Yes. Short version: GOLFITY gives you an absurd level of data and allows you to choose the benchmark (TOUR, 0, 5, 10, 15...) for your Strokes Gained numbers. And, again, FREE.

To be so early in development the app has a ton of good info, a few bugs will crop up here and there but they are easy to look past for the value provided.

This app is wonderful to use post game to analyze your shots and your play. The clean, easy to use UI makes for simple input of strokes. The analysis provided is fantastic and will surely help my game. The option to export your shots as a csv file is such a great addition as well. Keep up the great work!

i love the app and the new stat entry stuff is great. but the app ”refreshes” and loses all your progress way too often. on average about twice per round. so don’t even try to enter stats as you play. i really hope this gets fixed soon.
