Golfshot Plus

I’ve used the app since it first game out. It’s been brilliant, regularly updated and improved. It provides fantastic effort to help with course management and club selections among other features.

Great way to keep track of game and progress Minor issues with entering putts and distances and then these are not translated over to tracking when you review

Use it every game, fairly accurate gps, great layout, easy to use.

Thanks golf shot Have had the app for 10 years now. Great for playing a new courses to show all unseen hazards. I use it ever time i am on a course.also shows you where you can improve on areas in your game.the only negative thing I can say it’s sometimes take a little time to track the distance,20-30 seconds otherwise this is by far the extra club in your bag that every golf will wish he had gotten it sooner.

Great app with a few minor issues. 1- stats don’t include how you missed the green (left, right, short, long) which to me is very important for game improvement. 2- pre mapping of course doesn’t work as the app does use the trees unless your standing on them! Puts you in-between everything.

Update April 2022: In recent months, I have made contact with the Support team twice. Once to get the mapping updated for courses changes at my home club following renovations, the other time to get an update bug fixed. In both cases, could not fault the professional and prompt service provided, with excellent communication on progress. This App is still tops in my book. Original review: Having used the previous Golfshot for years and being very pleased with it, I was nervous when I saw that my iPhone had auto-updated to Golfshot Plus. Particularly after reading others' tales of misfortune with the new version. I have to say I like the new version and haven't had any issues with it. Good points include: it forces you to plan where you want your next shot to land before giving you the distance to that spot (in addition to giving you distances to the centre of green, and to hazards); expanding the birds-eye view map using 'zoom' gives a very good view of the hole being played; distance accuracy remains good; and battery usage is reasonable. Yes - it's different from the old version we all loved, but such is life. GolfNow tee time booking; tips and drills; scorecards; and news are features of no interest to me, so I ignore them. My previous lifetime payment appears to have been carried over to the new version, certainly I am able to use the app without having made any further payment. So overall, a happy customer and I will continue to recommend this app as a sensible golf distance finder.

This app has not worked on my Apple Watch since the day I bought the watch,all I get is a map of the hole and no other features. I am devastated as I’ve had the app a long time and loved it so hopefully with the latest update I finally get what I’m craving

I have used the app now for over 1000 rounds and have to say it is the easiest to use. Also a great app to see what part of your game needs work on.

Been using this since 2009, for the most part this is a great app. All features work as advertised. But when I look around, I see other competing apps have a lot more offering for the same price (or cheaper). For example: 1. No social features - can’t even view friends’ scorecards/record unless using a PC 2. Only basic stats tracking, no option to capture more insightful data 3. No strokes gained 4. Inability to enter a (-)Negative stableford score* - Aussies club golfers playing Par format will understand me *asked for this feature to be reinstated for over 2 years - Dev team said they’d look into it but never got it back
