goodEar Melodies - Ear Training

Only one of its kind I could find, to generate random melodies for ear training. Great little app, does exactly what's needed. Use it every day, along with intervals and chords.

Great app, clean layout, easy to operate, challenging melodies, lots of option settings. 5 stars for sure. (3GS / iOS 6.1.6)

This would much more useful if it named the key. Needs at least the option of hearing the tonic chord.

This entire series is a great alternative to games when I need a five-minute break. I hope the developer decides to bring it current with the latest iOS.

Love teaching my sons with these apps.

it's like playing on a piano that is not tuned...

This is a wonderful app. Really effective ear training device. However, some of the notes of the piano sound are panned to the right and some other notes are panned center; this makes it easier by giving a 'hint' once you realized the panning. Another thing is that usually 'medium' melodies are easier than 'hard' ones, and depending on the intervals chosen, sometimes the 'hard' ones become very easy and obvious. But that doesn't really bring the app down at all.. I highly recommend this app to anyone wanting to train their melodic ear in a game-like app using a piano keyboard. Keep up with your great apps!! Thank you!

Boo it stunk

This is a very nice app if you want to train your ears.. Some might say it's useless but the real thing is it's hard to train our ears to listen and distinguish sounds/notes, and it's an excuse so that they can stop training. But if you really want to improve your skills, use this App, it really worth it.
