My WD cloud has always been difficult to access and now thanks this unintuitive app it’s impossible!

This app does not work even closely to what it says it will. This app is just so someone can link into your phone to keep your data, the police should investigate this company .. STAY AWAY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED Possible will have to take legal action !!

The issue with other reviews is you need to have a paid copy of GoodSync running on another machine be it Windows or Mac. Then you can set up an account and run as a server on your machine. Then when downloaded on a ios device you can log in with the same details. This then allows you to run as a server on your device so your computer can see your device and you can set up sync folders. Also this allows you to explore from your device back to your computer. This should work anyway you have internet but find that the most reliable way is to VPN back to home network we’re my computer is sat running. This allows me to have copy of my work files on my iPad as iPhone doesn’t have any space but on my iPhone I can explore back to see the files needed. This isn’t explained in the app but as I have run the sync software for a few years went digging on the help section to work this out. Ideally this now needs to be linked to the files app as the files I carry on my iPad are available to see but hard to open in a app and change then to save back so that they sync back to my computer.

Downloaded and opened. The app appears to invite you to create username & password Then tells you that you do not have a valid account..!!!???WTF?? Apparently you need to create an account elsewhere before using this app. DELETED!! Time wasters!

Asks for a login but no place to sign up for a login, even on the website and in the app. Had to delete it

Is this a joke? Step 1 download app from App Store, step 2 get prompted for login details when no previous registration page and / or login credentials requested or set up, step 3 get stuck with invalid login credentials.....rubbish ( back to DropBox!)

Worked great for years. Now app won’t open on iPhone 13pro. Have latest update, but still app will not open. App support has not answered my inquiries.

I saw all the bad reviews and figure this would not be a good app but I was wrong. Once you figure it out it is awesome. I can send files to my home pc and I can get any file I want from my home pc by just browsing all the drives from my iPhone. I think people thought this was more like a dropbox that you just set it and it does it thing. Its completely different but I am really digging all the options that are available and what I can do. Good job developers....keep up the good work!

Cannot swipe to next/previous photo. This is very basic function for every app.

Happy user of GoodSync since 2015, until a recent support request after paid upgrade. In my experience, GoodSync support is poor and condescending to loyal users. I was denied a refund when I realized the upgrade version doesn’t support my workflow. Feeling pretty silly for recommending this greedy & unsupportive company to friends and fellow producers for the last 3 years :/
