Google Device Policy

If I could give zero stars on a review I definitely would on this app with no hesitation. I cannot access google classroom or any other google “work” related apps, without downloading this app on my iPad , or google will not let me use the app I want to use. There is no point in having a whole app for a google device policy and I don’t even have a google device I have an Apple IPad with a Magic Keyboard and a MacBook Air that I try to do all my work through. Taking my iPad with the keyboard and using it as a computer sometimes is a lot easier then taking my MacBook Air around but the problem is without this app I can’t access work related apps and this app cuts down my ability to do certain things and from reading other reviews it sounds like other people have the same issue.

I’m getting so many pop-ups from this app, even though I turned off notifications!

I have the latest version installed yet it still asks me to update my google policy. Make it stop

This app has ruined my phone. I did not approve or ever try downloading anything and it keeps giving a pop up every minute while trying to access my Internet. DO NOT USE THIS APP

This garbage is always problematic. I didnt need this and accidentally downloaded it. Now every time i open chrome this “update google device policy “ prompt pops up and i cannot get it to go away.

This trash app just help delete my Gmail from my phone and when I try to log into my Gmail account it’s shows no access to my Gmail. I tried so many times and it’s still not working. Just wasting my time.

It’s designed for company managed google workspaces to lockdown your phone. People complaining that it removed apps are complaining about the policies their own company set. This app doesn’t do anything except download and set up google workspace on your device. It also makes sure google sign in is actually working right across all the workspace apps. It works like it’s supposed to, and it’s a necessity with iOS 18 since the gmail app can’t install device management profiles anymore (or at least at the time of this review).

I hate you for existing

There are not enough words to state exactly how useless this app is. It simply does not work. It glitches with the current iPhone update. Already I have wasted four hours of my life in the IT department trying to get this resolved and I have to go back again tomorrow. Whoever is in charge of this app, please take note that when you have a 1.7 star review average on an app you created, please take note that your work is terrible.
