Works maybe 25% of the time, the rest of the time it just doesn’t register that my kid is using his device a at all. Nowhere near reliable enough for me as a parent to just set and forget.
Has made life as parent so much easier!
She reached the age set and it is so so hard to give her control, I gave up in the end and just set high limits, it is clunky and hard to do anything with this app, once the kid is on it is so hard to get them off, no support options to get help. I have advised everyone who asks me to jot get family link.
Disappointed with this. Thought I had control but have just discovered my 8 year child is playing snake game on ‘guest account’.
The downtime settings controls need an overhaul. Take a Quick Look at the Microsoft version. As parents we need to be able to designate multiple times on the day when the device is off limits
I added a school account to the Orginal kids gmail account on a chrome book and now it always asks for a parental code even set to not to ask for a code at login. There is no option to remove parental control for this user as they are under 13. All very painful to use.
App has stopped working. It will not open. Title screen only for a few seconds then it shuts down. Please fix.
For a year, I though this app was great. Then I discovered that it’s fine when managing only one device per child. Once your child has multiple devices, all needing managing, for some reason one rule fits all devices. Need 6 hours for a Chromebook at school? Great, the child can also have 6 hours on phone and tablet as well. 18 hours per day. Can’t be altered. Need to block one device? Great block them all at once. Need to allow an app on one device but not another? Nope, no can do. It is absolutely disappointing that there is so much granularity, but where it really matters, across devices, there’s none. Find a better app for your multi-device needs.
Alot of bugs
