Clearly no one uses this App very much with the dates of the reviews. Conceptually it is fantastic, but you cant even edit members of your own household to include family not living at home. You cant edit church groups even when you’re the Admin of the group! So sad as i see so many members/ leaders that would love to use it, but the limitations of fixed group membership stops this.

Useful resources for leaders and youth.

The notification function is poorly implemented and needs improvement. If I open the app I am able to see new messages In the group, but not if the app is closed. Banner alerts don’t occur even if the app is given all the permissions. This makes it a difficult alternative to other platforms. If you need a group to test with please let me know as we’ve agreed as a ward council to move to this app.

I love the the idea of being able to use this app for messaging within the church, but the notification system isn’t great and the loading time for anything in the app is terrible! When messenger and what’s app are almost loading messages instantaneously, it’s hard to move away from those resources and onto the living app. Also there needs to be the ability to create new chat groups within the ward.

Thanks for investing in an app that we can use to chat without having to use social media apps like messenger because we have a lot of people that don’t want to use that app. Just a few suggestions for the circles, a chat for Bishop, EQ and RS president only. A YSA chat and also Bishop should be included in the Relief Society chat because sometimes Bishop likes to share important information and help monitor the chat groups. But I love the app and look forward to updates.

It is a great app and I am so excited for it, however, there could be a few small improvements made! 1. I’d recommend putting the calendar section and the journal section into one so it can be written for a specific day and you can also set goals and reminders for that specific day. Eg read scriptures today, write a letter to a friend, etc. 2. With this new space freed up in the tool bar, you could utilise it to create a new feature such as a video section (BOM videos, Church messages, etc.) and you could use the ‘discover’ section as a ‘news’ section. Obviously these are just suggestions and it is so much easier for me to say these things than for the church to put them into practice, but I do think there can be improvements! Other than that it is an awesome app and is created by inspired leaders 🙂

So sad but no way to work out what to do so deleted it. Not sure what is wrong, but couldn’t work out how to add things, even some things I selected appeared not to do anything. Is it me?

I love this concept of being able to have all of your leadership calling information all in one place, including communications. The only thing is in circles I’m unable to tell who is in the circle and who is not. As the Young Women’s President, I should be able to have access to the info. When I try clicking on the little number at the top of the circle it doesn’t allow me to see the list of those included in that circle. At one time it did work, but now it doesn’t. Could you fix that?

Sorry but we just aren’t receiving updates in a timely way to use it for young mens. Please improve it. It seems a leader should be able to send a message and the group should receive it immediately.

Once again one of the apps especially this one is always buggy. I can’t see any of my children’s circles. It posts comments twice, the notification sticks around even after you have read the comment, the comments will disappear after you read and click on the group, and you can’t delete your own comment even when you were able to in the past. I actually hate this app because parents aren’t automatically put in their children’s circles. Why are you trying to separate parents and children that are minors and give us only a view option? Parents should be able to comment in the circles with their children without having to run to the leadership allllll the time. GroupMe was a better platform and we need to go back to it. For a multi-billion dollar church, you actually have the worst apps.
