3YAY: Local Casual Dating App

Was free but now £29.99/year. The overheads need to be paid as everyone moves to a subscription business model. As I only this useful app occasionally I cannot justice the premium so my free alternative is to use what three words. Just make a note of the words and you can find your way back :)

This app was awesome when free, now you can’t do anything without paying the ridiculous prices. Deleted!

This is invaluable, especially in unfamiliar places. Simple and elegant.

Until the update made it that you have to buy subscription. From free to straight subscription model is a bold move. At least have one off fee or limited anchors for free

The stealth change to a subscription model and then that model being entirely overpriced means this app has gone from being pride of place on my Home Screen to now being deleted. A great example of what not to do. Take a look at the model Clear use to remain free - but paid for.

Great app. My only reason for dropping a point is the symbols. I can never seem to find an appropriate meaningful one.

I’ve been asking for a while for this but it hasn’t happened. There needs to be a way to switch to GPS heading over, say 5mph for use in a car. Magnetic heading in a car with magnets around just does not work well at all. GPS heading would be much better in a car. It has nice graphics but it’s such a shame it doesn’t work in a car.

The arrow is supposed to move to point you in the right direction? Didn’t work for me. The arrow never moved no matter which direction I faced. I had to use Apple maps instead, which got me there very easily.

Get off the tour bus, drop an anchor and forget about it. Few beers, check the app and you’re back. 👍
