Shame no railcards available for single traveller in 50 age category, not a great makes trip very expensive for a single person

Paid for a first class ticket on 16:27pm train. They cancelled it. Said I should catch the next train but I’m not guaranteed a seat. That I paid for journey and seats are complimentary

I chose Grand Central because, unlike other companies, they don’t charge a booking fee (big plus). It’s easy to find services and the best fares. Due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel my most recent booking and rang the help line. The person I spoke to was friendly and very helpful and arranged a refund straight away. It’s the sort of excellent customer service which backs up an excellent app and I really recommend it

Always find travelling with Grand Central is stress free and never had delays so I speak as I find 👍🏼😄

Got the train from Eaglescliffe to London at 9.40 this morning , it’s 1415 and I’m still on my way to London. First train terminated at Doncaster due to a shortage of trains, told to get the Hull train which I did, that terminated at Huntingdon due to a windscreen wiper being faulty. If I had driven I would have been at my final destination by now. Warning. Don’t let the train take the strain.. unless of course it’s an LNER which I have always found to be excellent..
