Grim Quest tries to blend tabletop RPG vibes, familiar dungeon crawling and roguelike mechanics, and a classic turn-based combat system into an accessible and entertaining package. Because of its attention to written storytelling, detailed worldbuilding and abundance of lore, Grim Quest can be similar to a solo Dungeons and Dragons campaign, or even a choose your own adventure book.
Grim Quest is a single player game and can be played offline. It has no lootboxes, energy bars, overpriced cosmetics, content locked behind endless microtransactions, or other modern monetization schemes. Just a one-time purchase for the full game, and completely optional goodies for those who wish to support the game and its development.

Not what I expected love it!

Really interesting game. Gotta say was surprised when I was recommended this game since I haven’t heard about it before and 100% will support this game. Keep it up devs.

Great game, d&d vibes

Highly recommend to anyone who’s in to rpgs

Engaging gameplay loop

This game is really fun to play. The beginning customisation can be a bit intimidating, but don’t worry about it too much and just jump right in!

Simple and addictive

I downloaded the game thinking this will be one of dozens I would try and almost immediately delete but the more I played the more I wanted to play. I figured it was easy enough to pick a weapon and armor, but the characters background can have an influence on the game as well as the type of weapon or armor. I had several games where I was doing very well and was so concentrated on taking on the bad guys I didn’t watch my health that was a big lesson; Don’t think you’re invincible

Problem Bug

Every time I open the game now, all of my characters are back to the way they were the last time I went into the game. No change at all. It’s like I hadn’t played the game the last time. Please fix.

Could add a description of what the item does in recipes?? I don't know what I am making before I make it. 5 stars if you fix that

You can’t do a lot without unlocking the full game for 5 bucks.

I love it

It’s very fun and addicting to play, whenever I’ve got free time I log in to do a quest or two. It was a bit tricky at first but once I got the hang of it it was smooth. It’s as a RPG should be.

One of the best games I’ve ever played

10/10 writing and gameplay, I bought the full version as soon as I finished playing the free part. I can’t wait to play the prequel once I finish :)
