PREPARE VERSUS SHOP MODE AND STORE SELECTION
I am having such a hard time concluding my shopping because each time I prepare, I immediately SAVE the details. But as soon as I SHOP, my PREPARED items are not being recognized by the app. Instead, I am forced to re-enter the details again because the store selection disappears on SHOP mode and gets randomly picked by the app.
THIS IS CONFUSING!
Why do I have to select, and in this case, why does the app INSIST on picking another store, when I have already chosen a specific store to shop while on PREPARE mode?!
I made several lists of stores where i do my shopping so I don’t have to be rejected when I enter a new price for a specific item.
The location feature does not work accurately!

This App may not be perfect but having tried a number of shopping Apps I always come back to it as the best there is for my purposes.
Don’t!
Just don’t, do not wast your time. Be paid for the app. Then they tried to make us pay for a subscription, and after years of using it all our info is just gone! Just do not waste your time.

I have used this app for more years than I remember. I had a computer problem and had to remove all my apps. I resubscribed opting to pay for no ads. Now I can’t find a way to load ANYTHING. How to I used this app now?

My husband and I struggle to sync our groceries. After we updated the app, it’s all messed up. He can no longer see the items that I input. We are looking for a different app.
Won’t synchronize with other phones!
Repeatedly, and over and over and over and repeatedly over and over THIS FAILS TO SYNCHRONIZE MY IPHONE WITH MY WIFE’S IPHONE. EVERY TIME ONE OF US GOES TO THE STORE WR HAVE TO CHECK IT, re that’s RE-SYNCHRONIZ IT
Used to be a great app
I’ve been using this app for many years and it was one of my go to apps. It was just wonderful for shopping at the very stores and I regularly shop in. I have hundreds of items on my list. A couple of upgrades ago it decided to add almost every item in all my lists to the local hardware store I had recently added. And if you delete the store you delete everything in its lists, so I can’t delete it. Further I just found out I can’t add stores anymore at all. I can’t believe how far downhill this app has gone in the last couple of years. One star is way too good for this app. Edit: more than a year later, and nothings fixed. Obviously if they've stopped maintaining this app.
Edit: i've replaced Grocery gadget with AnyList which has, near as I can tell all the features of Grocery gadget without any of the many glitches.
My routine
Grocery Gadget has become part of my lifestyle and daily routine. I treated as if it were a journal, continually adding, deleting and adjusting my shopping lists using it as my guide. Grocery Gadget has become my go-to shopping companion!
Poor app support and functionality
There is no one Available for support ever, even though I pay for an annual subscription. It is very frustrating. We should all cancel our memberships and delete this app from our phones
