Group the Loop

I’ve tried them all and this is my favourite. It’s main advantage over other loopers is that it allows you to easily make different sections for your compositions. It may not be the prettiest out there but the layout and operation strike a good balance between simplicity for live performance whilst allowing the possibility to tweak the mix by quickly adjusting levels, panning etc and also adding some very useable effects.

This looper has made my day. Goes way beyond other iOS loopers and actually seems to be a kind of bridge between Ableton and loopers. In Ableton parlance - think of it as having many "scenes" but with a "master scene" that can run continuously while switching between the other scenes. Each "Scene" can have up to 4 loops or "tracks" running simultaneously. This app is awesome and the developer is very actively supporting feedback .

This is brilliant, for live acoustic electronic music on iOS i would go as far to say as its a game changer.

I'm pleasantly surprised so far by this app. It has a clever, easy to use interface and appears very stable. I think I would like to see copy/paste as an import option but I'm happy to get AudioShare just for Group the Loop. Good Job.

Been having a lot of fun with this looper building up song structures. Slick UI and a great tutorial. AudioShare import/export is very handy.

THANK YOU to whoever made this! I’m so impressed. Half of me wants to keep this a secret, but the other half wants everyone to download it so we keep getting support, updates and improvements! As standalone software, it is amazing and elegant. It is very versatile. It has Ableton Link. Almost every aspect of control can easily be assigned to my foot and desktop midi controllers. 👍

This app is SO GREAT, but with the update, Ableton link no longer works, PLEASE FIX THIS!! 😭

I just purchased this, regrettably. I’d read good things & the idea seems good. It doesn’t work as intended. I can’t import files by using Import buttons & dragging/dropping also doesn’t work. My 1 year old, fully updated ipad should have this running. iOS software is current. Useless and I will be requesting a refund ASAP.
