Exceptional cover with 80% on most ancillary’s, most service providers I deal with can’t believe how good the cover is
GU shared my personal claim details with another GU customer. They are generally very incompetent and their customer service is terrible as they usually take many days to respond to basic queries.
GU Health. Great App, great fund. Easy to use app. Good benefits.
Value for money easy claiming
I’m impressed how easy it was to set up GU app on my phone and submit my first claim.
I Jan 2024 I reviewed pharmacy coverage reminding under Amber’s profile prior to deciding on whether I would obtain a script for an expensive treatment. At that time the app showed funds for Phamacy were still available and based on this I decided to obtain a course, however it wasn’t until after my claim submission did GU advise via email I had previously reached the threshold and no amount will be paid out. If this was clear from the outset I definitely would not have proceeded with this as I cannot afford this outlay of funds 100% out of pocket. In addition, the claims page on the app shows the Jan claim as PAID with a green tick ✅ which again is again misleading because no amount was actually paid out. Transparency/reliability from GU with their clients is fundamental for them/me to have confidence and trust in your product. I have to say, I feel let down by GU and would not recommend the fund to friends and family.
Claims tab always takes too long to load. No history or status of submitted claims, so no idea if they’ve received them or processing etc. rewards page may as well not exist. Benefits levels showing are good, but a lot of improvements needed
I did not have to wait on, the call was immediately picked up by Himani, who was outstanding. She helped me with the app and took me step by step through the claim process. Thank you
The app should allow the user the ability to view previously scanned documents which were related to a claim. It is also difficult to correlate a rejected claim to a scanned receipt.
