Guardian Monitor is an app that reads glucose values from one of the available CGM services without changing any settings in the original service.
To use this app, you must have your own account with the original service, because authorization is required, without which the app will not work.
The app extends the standard functionality with its own alarm mechanism or voice reading of measurements.
In addition, it is possible to set the app to run in the background, by playing a wake-up sound, which will turn into an alarm if necessary.
Other features include:
- Apple Watch support (including eSIM)
- Widgets
- Siri support
- Nightscout sync
- Session sharing between devices

Latest update added great features
The update for the watch to allow you to show the whole of the previous 24 hours is great. The ability to write data to NightScout is brilliant. May I make a suggestion for a future update? Could you add an option to allow writing the data you read from Carelink into Apple Health? With this feature I’d give 5 stars
App doesn’t update
I installed it on my iPhone 14 but the app doesn’t update. I always have to sign in again to get the updates to work only for the updates to last about an hour. Then I have to login again. I installed to get the widget on my iphone Lock Screen. But it’s no better then useless if the readings aren’t current. I have to login to my phone and check my cgm app to be sure what my levels are. Which begs the question, why have the guardian app?
Can’t log in
I keep getting authorisation code 495 when trying to log in?? Any suggestions?
Fantastic App for Diabetics with Minimeds
Shows glucose level on Home Screen and Lock Screen in iPhone 14 Pro. I was waiting for an app like this so I can buy an Apple Watch and keep an eye on my blood sugar at a glance. A thoughtful designed app, well done!
Can finally control alarms from phone
Turned off alarms on my pump so now don’t have to fish my pump out of my pocket every time an alarm goes off. When sugar levels are volatile this is a LIFESAVER!! Can’t believe the MiniMed app doesn’t have this functionality but well done and thanks Kacper 😊
Blood glucose displayed on my Apple watch!❤️
Easy to see my current BG level on my Apple watch. Updates regularly. I'm really pleased. My iPhone had to be switched off then on for everything too work as it should but now it's great.👏🏻❤️ I couldn't send this review because of the need for a nickname that hasn't been used before.
Error code 437????
Has been working perfectly now it won’t connect/ update readings so I deleted the app and reinstalled it but am getting an error code 437?
Can’t login
Hi there, not sure why, but I can’t log in and get a data error code of 701. I have a registered minimed Carelink account.
If issue is fixed this app will be amazing for T1D and their families
When I go to login it doesn’t send me to authorisation code page (I get an email with the code to enter but no page to enter it on).
