App worked perfectly fine until…

I have been using this app frequently and have bought the extra tunings, I had no issues tuning my guitar, it worked perfectly. As soon as I updated my phone to IOS 16 the app immediately would pickup every single sound that came through my mic and it would resonate and bleed my ears, the tuning doesn’t even show up when I pluck the string, it just keeps going with the noise. I’d like to know how to fix this as I have spent money on the app and it really is a great tuning app.

A4 and A#4 is the same on chromatic tuner Tuner cannot recognize difference

I purchased this app today and can only assume I’m using it correctly as there are no instructions. In saying this though it appears quite simple which is great for me being a beginner but I will refer to an experienced person for confirmation. One thing, how do you close out of the app? It seems to be always running in the background and I don’t want it using up all my data on my phone. Thanks.

This is a fantastic app. Very accurate, simple to use, nice design what more can I say. 10 out of 10 for the app and the Developer. I would pay for this app and will probably send him some money to keep the app going.
