Gymboss Interval Timer

I have had GymBoss for years. I started using it when I was cross fitting and have continued ever since. It has added some bells and whistles, but has also stayed very simple. It is definitely my go to when I’m doing any type of interval training.

I absolutely LOVE this APP. I add all of my workouts and literally don’t have to think about time or rest because it does it all for me!

Gymboss is easy to use and reliable in functionality.

I love this timing app, but when the update deletes my custom created intervals.. Wow that is annoying and destructive (deleting user generated content is bad form for apps that are intended to be customized. Akin to a factory reset that loses all your fine tuned settings). And yes I am stopping in the middle of my workout to type this review.

I’ve been using GymBoss timer for YEARS! It’s the best, most simple interval timer in the App Store.

My old routine just quit working. Out of the blue after years. I had to reinstall it. Then the sound (tone) at the end of each set quit playing. When I tried to edit(change) the number of seconds in a round, nothing. I had to delete it and do it over. Whatever changes the company did are a mess.

I’ve been using GymBoss for 10.5 years now, and I had dozens of awesome intervals saved that I use regularly. I haven’t had an issue in more than 10 years until the latest update erased ALL of my data. Hours and hours of work lost. I’ve recommended this app to a ton of people since I’m in the workout business. Such a disappointment.

The update for sounds is not user friendly. Having to change the sound for each time is inconvenient and time consuming if you are doing multiple times in a spot . This needs to be fixed .

Used the timer successfully for years and really loved it. The latest update destroyed it. All of my timers got changed and when I try to fix them or create a new timer, the app shuts down. Back to using my stopwatch. Oh well.

I’m an instructor and use the app to teach so I need my past workouts. They keep randomly disappearing. I love that I can customize the exercises but if the workouts disappear labeling exercises useless. Please fix!
