Gymcatch - Book Fitness

I attend Zumba classes & the booking system for classes & packages is really easy. My 1 complaint is that you can’t delete any of the messages - hence 4* rating, any chance this can be changed?

Despite my notifying them that my wife Georgina died in 2022 the app still continues to send her notifications

I’m a Private Personal Trainer and recently started running Small Group Classes in the studio I’m currently working. I was looking for an app for my classes especially- and found GymCatch simply brilliant, has all of the features I needed for that, not to mention the price is affordable for the features even with extra bolt on-s. As a self employed person it helps me a ton with organising the bookings and finances side and I can now have a peace of mind around that, too. Building up the system might seem to bit tricky first, but once you get the gist of it and know what you’re doing, the set-up is very smooth. The videos are also helpful: very well detailed and easy to follow + the customer service is excellent. Simon and Ollie are so kind and helped me a ton, as a newbie I felt lost in the beginning, but not anymore. Highly recommend!

The app is ok, but my out of date bookings do not disappear, which clutters my bookings history. I do not see any way to clear the backlog, so please could you add a feature to clear old bookings or reverse the date order to latest date first. Thanks!

The app is amazing but I don’t seem to be able to search by location. If I search for a class it shows me classes from all over the country which isn’t helpful at all

There are niggles with this app that disadvantage the customer. Must shopping apps are careful to deal with user error. Gymcatch takes advantage. There is no alert when cancelling sessions to remind you there will not be a refund due to the 24hr policy and neither does it ask the customer to confirm they want to cancel. Consequently it is easy to make a mistake. Can’t help but think it’s designed that way for financial advantage…

I find this app very sluggish and often freezes (several seconds of delay after tapping a button) but that’s not my issue with the app. It is poorly designed and executed. When I book a session, I have to select my profile and then select ‘view booking options’. (Why? I’m on my account so it’s a given it’s my account and I’m a single user.) It’s not ‘booked’ at this stage. When I then ‘view the booking options’ there are no options, only a message saying ‘Great, you’ve booked’. This is a completely unnecessary step. There is an option to cancel at the top - but it’s not the option to cancel your booking, it’s a cancel to leave button. This makes no sense. You should select the session you’re booking, hit ‘book’ and then get a message to say ‘great, you’ve booked’. Once that’s done you should be able to select a finish or exit button, even better if it took you back to the sessions menu. When I go to my bookings and click on a session I’ve booked in the future I get two options: ‘Manage bookings’ and ‘Book’. ‘Book’ is a big red button. However, I’ve already booked so the option to book should’ve be there. When I click on it to re-book in case I’ve made a mistake, I see the message ‘this user is already attended’. Poor grammar. I’ve no idea why the Book button appears when I’m already booked. It says the session is finished when it’s just started. It won’t let me check-in when the session had started, only before it. This app definitely needs a bit of work. It’s unintuitive and confusing.

Great app that does what we need. Great support from the team whenever we have had any queries and while we were learning to use the app.

Just updated app on my new iPad and it doesn’t work anymore! Help. Now working fine after taking it off and reloading it.

Prior to discovering GymCatch, I could only find options that were needlessly expensive or complicated, or that were too generic in the services they catered for that I couldn’t hone in and best describe what my business offered/did.
