GymStreak: AI Personal Trainer

This app has a lot of potential and I generally enjoy the features. However, It can be glitchy and laggy. My custom made workouts get changed all the time without me changing them? Some sets will randomly be removed and it’s really annoying during my workout. Wish I could edit my workout during the actual workout because of these issues.

I see no AI at all when it comes to weights and reps. It’s generating new workouts everyday. Basically, this app logs your weights and reps. Nothing more

The devs can’t roll out emergency break fixes when an update breaks something that previously works. I’ve been submitting feedback regarding issues- yet the most recent update isn’t even bug fixes. If you’re going to pay for this app, there are better options out there and more affordable than this app.

Sometimes pre-workout hits and need a pause button to use latrine or when I’m on duty and get a call that I have to respond too. Pause button would be key to making my workout more accurate

Since the latest update that changed the user interface, this app has gone down to 1 star. While I’ve used this app for 3+ years, this will be my last subscription. It’s not as interactive and it’s not user friendly anymore. The workout quality is lacking from previous versions, and it’s overall “busy”. I wish there was a way to restore previous versions, as I would have given the app 5 stars on earlier versions

I have used and enjoyed this app for well over a year. Just had this months subscription pulled out of my account three days ago. Went in to start a workout and instantly get rejected because I have to pay another fee on top of the subscription that I already pay per month. GARBAGE policy to pull that on someone once they have already paid for the month and honestly, totally not an app paying that extra fee. Moving to “Centr” or “Workout” now. Both are much better platforms, with a lot more content, and significantly higher numbers of users.

I downloaded this app a week ago for $29.99 a year, it was going good until I tried to workout today and it’s trying to charge me an additional “$29.99” for the year saying that I have no more workouts left. That makes no sense when I should be subscribed for a year. You’re better off going with another app or going to the gym! Wasted $30 for this app to not even work smh! Waste of money and time!

Workouts are nice, but the nutrition feature is buggy. Calories from exercises are underestimated, and they don’t always show up. Also, calories from common foods listed in their databank are oftentimes way overestimated from reality. The workout feature is nice but also a bit difficult to navigate compared to other apps I’ve used.

Doesn’t include anything that involves a machine, unless it uses cables but even then there’s not super basic things like tricep pushdowns

I had the lifetime subscription, and now it seems like they took it from me.
