Inaccurate
First time user- It matched exactly what my treadmill said the whole time but once I stopped my workout, it added a minute to my mile time. Frustrating, as I intended to connect it for tracking speed progress and now it’s inaccurate.

I use GymTrakr often as the treadmills at my gym only connects with Apple watches and not my Garmin due to it’s ANT+ only communication. But it’s no problem with GymTrakr as it uses Apple compatible signal. However, elevation data changes from feet to miles after a certain point, so you lose the precise footage data. Not good. User should be able to change this. You can save workout data but not the elevation gain, this should also be fixed. So in the meantime, I screenshot the data on the Iphone before quitting and saving so I can manually input data in Garmin and/or Strava.
Connects to my IC4 bike and reads all data, but can’t save or export anything. No support available
The app doesn’t save any data. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Made sure phone is updated anything that might cause issues.
Connecting and recording is very hit or miss, although the app looks like it uses the very best in 1990’s technology. There are plenty of high school code-writing classes looking for a semester project the developers could use to rewrite this terrible app.
Works well enough by itself. But if it integrates with the Health app, the instructions on how to do this are nonexistent or very well hidden. Until that’s fixed, I’ll just put my iPhone back in my pocket and let the Health app figure out steps and distance.
My gym recommended using this app with their cardio equipment and most of the time it just says “No machines nearby” even when I hit the Bluetooth button on the machines to pair. Yesterday it popped up 3 nearby machines but showed no data when I paired to any of them. Then I restarted the app and it showed nothing nearby. I got it to work one time with a stationary bike and the data was great to correct some of my data recorded in my garmin app that was incorrect like distance. It would be a better app if it worked 100% of the time and also exported to other apps.
The app is humming along and I love it! The ability to push directly to Strava is game changing. Works great with my TRUE console.
Have never been able to get my TrueFitness Performance 800 to connect. Treadmill never shows up in the list.
Even though you can link a HR strap and see the data while working out the .FIT file does not contain Heart rate data. That is disappointing.
