Like the title says I like the concept of this app but oh man does the app fail miserably. It takes the app a while to recognize and scan the book page and when the video finally loads up the app doesn't allow me to use any of the on-screen controls(fast forward, pause, etc) let alone use the back button so that I can leave the current video and scan the next.
Didn’t play sound for me until I found a different way, laptop book won’t trigger the sound. I have a kindle copy on an ipad. Fortunately I found it worked using my phone pointed at the ipad (but didn’t work if the book was on my laptop).
App recognizes the images in the book and loads the appropriate companion video without issue but none of them have audio.
I'd love to be able to hear the videos. Any chance of an update?
I saw a review that reported the app has no sound, and sure enough I tried it and encountered the same problem. I realized though you just have to turn off your phone’s silent mode switch and the sound works just fine. Great app!
I was really looking forward to the tutorials in this book. The video pops up with no problem but there is no sound. I cranked up all the sound levels on my iPhone but still nothing. Oh well, the book itself Is still very good
Really neat idea displaying the AR videos. Love the book too.
The app used to work. Currently running the latest version of iOS 11 9/19/2018. The book has a link to the video in the back at least. Please update ASAP
The book itself is great, but the app crush every time I open it, please fix it and I’ll update the review
