Halifax Transit RT

I am trying to plan my trip for tomorrow and am finding it very challenging. Why not put the schedules on the app?

Useless and pointless to use as it is less accurate and much less user friendly than Google Maps

I am waiting for a bus that was supposed to be here 15 minutes ago, to now it is an hour away. They just cancelled the 15:07 #39 bus without telling any one, and I now have to wait another hour. Halifax is the worst system ever.

It really annoying when I need to get to work and I can’t tell if the bus is late or canceled

Hard to rate to something so fundamentally and profoundly useless. This whole organization needs to be fixed from the top down. Nevertheless, the app is a great host for scam banner ads along the bottom of the home page, so it’s got that at least. You’re just a few clicks away from some fraudulent credit card charges! At any rate, I’ll give it credit for not being as useless as the bridge app, check that out if you want to see your tax dollars at work.

Many other jurisdictions have eTicket capability on their transit app. It would be very well received.

Metro transit went down hill so bad in the last couple years. I used to be able to depend on it and now you can’t . It either has buses cancelling at the last minute so you stand there and wait another 30 minutes for the next one or you have them playing leap frog. One right behind the other. Speaking about the 24 mostly. Most of the drivers are terrible drivers, they speed and slam on the brakes and they don’t think about the people who has to stand because they pack them on the bus instead of telling to wait and grab the next one right behind it. They could fall and hurt themselves. They fly around sharp corners and then there are others that drive so slow it took me an hour and 15 minutes to get home from work when it normally takes 30 minutes. This driver sat at a stop sign for at least 5 minutes and there wasn’t a car coming . There are other drivers that are great but most of them are horrible. Then in the heat you almost suffocate because there is no air conditioning but when it is pouring down raining and everyone is soaked because the bus was late, the air conditioning is on and you get a chill cause you’re soaked. Unreal… Halifax must be proud 😡!!

It doesn’t say if a bus is cancelled. Been waiting an hour for the #85 that should of been here 45 mins ago. And the next bus it keeps saying it’s longer and longer…..

So confusing and awkward. Totally useless trip planner.

I don’t know why but there’s been so many instances now that I go to wait for a bus, and the times either never match up or the bus just never shows when the app says it will. Disappointed.
