haptik: Watch Haptic Metronome

I’m getting a lot of use out of this app. I’m running it on Apple Watch Ultra 2 with iPhone 15 pro Max and the combo is a knockout. Fast accurate tempo reference any time I want. The haptic vibrations are strong and perfectly in sync between watch and phone, so when I’m on stage and want to grab a quick tempo, I can very clearly feel the pulsing in two places - wrist and phone in back pocket. The audio recording button is handy too. Combined with a couple of other knockout apps like Watch guitar tuner and apple’s Noise app for SPL metering, I’m loving having these useful features easily available at gigs. Thanks developers!

Love this app! Absolutely great for practicing but I wish there could be a time signature option so like the vibration would be different on the first beat but honestly so good without! Especially for a one off payment!

Hi, I purchased this for my son to use on his Apple Watch, that is linked up to my phone. (He doesn’t have his own phone). The app won’t load to his watch, only mine. Not useful, if I can’t decide which device it gets loaded to

I’d love to use this app as a drummer for live shows where I can cross check tempos before starting songs. An option to build set lists where songs are matched to certain tempos would be a massive win for this app especially if it’s integrated into the Apple Watch app. I use this app during rehearsals and it works well for tempo check ins + recording. Look forward to seeing where this app goes next!

Great app, works well. Would be better if it would still work without needing the microphone constantly. I have it on in the background, but because it uses the microphone (even when in normal operation, not using Shazam), other apps and background noise levels are not able to access the microphone

Cool idea for an app was really hoping this would work out useful but it’s nothing more than a bit of a novelty. As a teacher and professional musician it would be great to be able to use this in rooms where others are playing without having any sound! Was hoping that with a paid app that I would see improved sync with the phone. The phone starts tapping as soon as you turn the watch on but it’s completely out of sync. Not a great issue for a Metronome! Also, with any amount of movement from playing (guitar/piano) the haptics become harder to notice. Even as a professional musician who uses metronomes for practise all the time I just wasn’t feeling enough wrist intensity while playing to keep the feel. Would be great to be able to increase the intensity of the haptics.

This is great for practice, but would really love to use it with recording It would be so great if it supported Ableton Link, to sync tempo with live sessions and play along with a haptic pulse. Thanks

I’m looking for a metronome to count ten-20bpm. Other than that app looks good

Love the ideal of using my watch and being able to sync with others. The only complaint I have is the difficulty of selecting the tempo I want. Currently you can only change the tempo by sliding your finger up and down. It would nice if we could type the tempo we want in. I have a known tempo and it would be easier (not mention faster) to just type it in and go.
