Great App
Is a great app and easy to use, but for the pumping log... Wouldn't it better to have an extra option to choose by using ML (milliliter) or OZ (ounce), to record the amount of breast milk pumping record? Thanks!

The app itself is fine/good. I used it with 3 kids so far and with my first and second when I was nursing it was helpful in knowing how much they were eating (obviously the main point of the product/app). With my third baby, I was only nursing about once to twice a day before switching to completely exclusively pumping because he has a painful latch and wasn’t really improving. We still use the pad as a scale when we want to weigh him. But these survey questions in the app are so dumb to be honest because even though I am 100% a breastfeeding mom exclusively pumping, the questions will say like is your baby biting you (yes/no/im not breastfeeding). There should be a 4th option of none of these. There are so many questions that come up that the answers do not apply to my situation. Not just breastfeeding related questions. But it just is so annoying how It acts like there’s no other options besides nursing or “not breastfeeding” like as if people can’t combo feed with formula or partially nurse and partially bottle feed pumped milk. The question/answer writers for their surveys just need to be more inclusive in general bc if they’re actually trying to get an accurate response and idea of what people’s answers are, they need to provide more choices than their narrow minded options currently. Rant over 🙃
Mostly love this app BUT have had major issues with it crashing. In fact, I'm currently unable to open the app at all without it immediately crashing. This is the second time this more significant crashing issue has happened in the 6 weeks since I started using the app. Also experiencing an issue where my husband can't see the pumping record (although he was able to see it the first few days). Finally, the app also often crashes when deleting records, which others have mentioned. If not for these things, I would give this app 5 stars.
- Every time I try to delete a feed from the feedings screen (eg if started by mistake), the app crashes/closes out. No matter how many times I try. Please fix this bug! - Agree with other reviewers that it needs a night mode. - Would love a really obvious way for the app to show what the last nursing side was, especially on the feedings screen. As it is, it just says “Last side” in a tiny faded font that it SO hard to see. - Would love a way to track medications given. There’s no way to do that now. Otherwise, it’s useful for tracking things. We are using this app over others because of its integration with Alexa.
We use this app religiously but unfortunately the app crashes constantly. Often crashes without any clear cause but also crashes every single time we try to delete any kind of logged activity. Really frustrating that it’s so finicky but Hatch doesn’t seem to be releasing any more updates to fix these issues.
I love my scale but wish I didn’t need this app to use it. The app freezes up any time you move to another app and come back. You have to completely close the app before reopening it in order to get it to work again.
The app crashes ALL the time. It is extremely frustrating when you want to record something and the app doesn’t work. It has logged me out and deleted recent entries multiple times- so that’s fun. You can tell Hatch does not care. It is about getting you to buy the product but also concurrently saving funds by letting the app fade into irrelevance. Do not recommend.
We like this to track the basics but there are minimal bells and whistles. The iOS vs Android application is completely different in how they look, function, etc… they don’t even produce the same data when exporting. I have had a ton of data lost on the iOS version when servers have gone down or the app has asked working but my husband still has the data on android. But when it’s exported from android you don’t get any pumping data like on iOS. The inconsistency is aggravating. I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall multiple times because sometimes it just malfunctions. If I didn’t have over 4 months of data in the app, I would switch to another app.
What would be helpful is if sleep recordings that cross between days (i.e. 11pm -5am) would split when it shows up in the schedule (i.e. 1hr on one day and 5hrs on the next). This is because the totals for each day then get skewed. It shows up as 6hrs on day one. My little one is 2months old so I’m trying to make sure she gets 14-17hrs of sleep but the way this tracks makes it challenging. Also won’t delete entries without crashing
The app was okay to use even when it worked but nothing groundbreaking. We just had our second child, almost 3 years after our first. We opened the app again to use it on this child, hoping to see our first child’s information again. His name still showed up but not any of the data we entered. My partner’s phone did show his data but there was mo option to share the data from her phone to mine. In a last ditch effort to retrieve the information I deleted him from my phone but that deleted him from my partner’s phone as well. We’ll try another company’s app for sharing information but document it in more reliable manners. I’m just glad we didn’t waste our money on any of the Hatch devices. If they function anything like the app, they’re not worth the high price tag.
