HBO GO

I have tried downloading but no use. It would automatically log out my account. So disappointed

I love the shows but the app is horrendous. The app, the website and the tv app is not in sync and will not remember the episodes that you finished watching. The app is very sluggish. Guys, please make HBO great again. This is not the ‘90s anymore. It’s no longer the grit and grime era, it is the sleek and smooth era now. Love the grit and grime in my shows but not the app.

I appreciate the platform mostly. But what I can’t stand is the size of the subtitles on the browser version. I can barely read anything 10ft away. Plus, I can’t find any option in the settings that can at least change text size

My HBO is not working. It says my account is out of region. How can that be I’m not using a VPN or someone else’s account from the another place. I still have 1 month worth of subscription :( Also, so little original content, hard to find something to watch. Now that House of the Dragon is gone, don’t know what to watch. Feels like I have seen everything.

Download quality is low, terrible UI compared to other streaming platforms, could barely hear my stream at max volume, offline and online streaming is complete BS where the app interrupts your streaming even when you have the video downloaded.

There is no option to download movies in HD, it's always in low quality, I tried to look in the settings if I can change the quality of the download, but it isn't there.

After subscribing to a plan and using the app, I was logged out. Upon trying to sign in again, I was prompted to choose a subscription plan. My account settings show that my plan is valid until next month, even though I’ve only been using the app for a week. I have tried researching possible solutions, hoping that this bug had already been fixed, but I failed to find kne that works for thus issue. The app should recognize the active subscription and allow access without prompting for a new plan. Hoping that developers will review and fix this ticket.

HBO Go falls short in comparison to Netflix, particularly when it comes to user-friendliness. Navigating the platform feels cumbersome and often confusing, making it difficult to find specific shows or movies. Unlike Netflix, which offers an intuitive interface and personalized recommendations, HBO Go lacks smooth navigation and organization. Additionally, the syncing issues between devices are particularly frustrating. It’s not uncommon to start a show on your phone, only to find that it doesn’t sync properly with your TV. This inconsistency can be annoying, especially when you're trying to pick up where you left off. Overall, HBO Go needs significant improvements in its user interface and syncing capabilities to compete effectively with Netflix. As it stands, the experience can be more of a hassle than a pleasure.

Downloaded several episodes of HOTD only for it not to play!
