No zones on Apple Watch
Although the app on the iPhone allows you to set up and see your zones while working out, I wanted to see them on the Apple Watch. The only thing it gives you on the watch is your heart rate.

I was attempting to use this app for a fitness class I teach. The information that I have input for my age keeps reverting back to a default age. After the workout, it states it stores my workouts, however I am unable to locate them. Every time I exit the app and return I have to re-sync the heart rate monitor. I really like the features of the app when in use. However it is frustrating that none of the information is accessible and the process of re-syncing is time consuming and ineffective for use during my class.
Ditto the 5/13 reviewer. Only one star because there is no “0” available. Wonderful product used for 3 years now turned to absolute rubbish.
I’ve never written a review for an app before but the new changes render this app borderline unusable. I used heart zones app for two years with no issues. I’ll start with the biggest problems. I like to see my heart rate on my phone using the app while I’m running. No brainer, right? They made the HR number much smaller and it’s now a red color instead of white so it’s almost impossible to see if you’re outside. Also noticed calories burned is now way off. Upon entering height data it says height can’t be less than 18 inches or greater than 37 inches. Have I lost my mind or did we all become workout dwarves? The UI overall is much worse, data is presented less clearly, and calorie is spelled “calory” which makes me sad. Please, if you’re a developer and you’re reading this, fix this app. It used to be quite nice, and now it’s just ghastly. If fixed I’ll happily take down this one star review and put up a five star review. God speed
The latest version of the app changed the text color to red on a black background. This makes it impossible to read the current heart rate from more than a couple of feet away. So trying to monitor your heart rate while riding a stationary bike is impossible.
I had many workouts saved and all of a sudden the app changed - today 4/4/2020. All my data gone! I had to reestablish my personal info (ht, etc, etc) but still cannot sync app to my heart rate monitor! What the hell happened! Updates should not do this!!
I know longer recommend this app. The old version was perfect. You could easily read your heart rate, avg heart rate, and elapse time. I have used it for two years and loved it. I can no long use it since I can no longer read those metrics while running. The font is too small. Don’t know why they changed a great app.
I’ve been usIng this app for several years and really like it. I just did the latest update and now all my history is gone. It would have been nice to get a heads up that this would happen.
Love it!!!
I use this app to track the intensity of my workouts. I had no trouble syncing my heart rate monitor to it and it lets me see my heart rate zone in real-time. Overall, I am really pleased with it.
