Hearty App: Everyday Bonding

App takes forever and ever and ever and ever to read a story. Not worth it at all

Thankfully I’m in the trail part. Not like add same games and only a few. Story part don’t work or if it does loads so slow I’d do better reaching her a story. I was like many of you saw rating but didn’t read. Sure there’s a better app somewhere or just google games, AI stories etc.

I subscribed and paid for the monthly plan yesterday and was charged $9.99. When I opened the app today, it took me to the Subscribe/Pay page, and making me repurchase. Scam!

I like the app generally and hope to get some good activities from it that I can do with my daughter. We were so excited about the story teller feature, though, just to discover it rarely works. When it does work, it’s really cool! So, when I downloaded the app a few weeks ago, I hoped that maybe it was a temporary glitch. It isn’t. It’s just as likely to get hung up now as it was then. And I’m not talking about a small matter of patience. The app will say it’s generated the story. In reality, it’s hung up and no matter how long you wait, it’s not coming. Pretty disappointing.

Lots of fun great ideas but the tutorial videos sometimes goes too fast for my 8yo and the explanations aren’t detailed enough so you have to figure it out by trial and error. Wish there was a way to slow down the tutorial videos, especially the origami stuff. My spatial conception is awful so I have a hard time helping.

Content is lacking and often repetitive. For instance within the science activities most involve vinegar and baking soda. Also it would be great to explain the why behind the science activities. I thought there would be skill based activities in math and literacy. There is just one math activity involving Dixie cups and just 2-3 word games! Additionally the search bar is not a real search bar in the sense that it doesn’t allow you to look up a subject or game. Instead it asks you questions to narrow down the search. Not helpful. Overall so disappointing

Is this app five star because I love her gives you so many ideas to do else and crafts too. I highly suggest this app to any mother. It gives all of the ideas especially in the summer. It is fun to do with all the kids and younger kids.

Love the app but their didn’t seem to be enough crafts and I’d like to see more ideas in that area. The AI story telling is cool but I couldn’t figure out how to save the story or find it again after I closed the app. Great app though!
