Billing history crashes app after update on prepaid account, very annoying forced to use website on computer.
You have to have at least 8 characters and a special character but can’t enter the whole password on the app . So it’s impossible to log in. This needs to be fixed
I closed this app after a payment I attempted to make was still circling after 5 minutes (had all bars and full wi-fi signal on my band new phone). All my user info was stored and got me into the app to make the payment, but when I closed it and reopened to try again, the app said all my info was incorrect. This after a whole ordeal trying to log in to their “new” and “updated,” “user-friendly” website. The issue continues after trying several times and even deleting the app and reinstalling. I’m really disappointed in Horry Electric right now. All I wanted to do was pay my exorbitant (for no apparent reason) bill.
The user interface looks like it’s from iPhone 4 era. Kinda outdated.
Push notifications have stopped working for some reason. I checked all my settings on my phone and on my account. Nothing was changed.

Their app, much like the service they provide is archaic at best and utterly useless at worst. However since they are the power monopoly in the area they really have no motivation to improve anything. I've tried to pay my bill from the app and insanely enough I get all of the information on the screen and then I cannot scroll to the bottom to the "send" button. So I'm stuck trying to quickly tap send before the screen snaps back on me. Usually I would've contacted "app support" before writing a bad review. But in Horry Electric's style the "app support" link takes you to a useless page on their website.
I love the app! I can pay my bill with my stored bank account so easily. Very user-friendly.
Being able to access account information, check my energy use, pay my bill and even set up alerts and notifications for my account is great! It's easy to use and convenient.
