This app is really well for improving conversational language, as well as grammar and sentence structure in a gentle way. Also offers variation as it touches on a little of all common topics. I like how clear the audio is, and the way it translates the individual hanzi characters as it introduces a word. Being able to click on a fragment of sentence and seeing it's English translation improves understanding. It also seems to offer various length stories with a similar format to their lessons. It has a nice air to it with which seem like native speakers often appearing in short clips pronouncing a sentence. This way it's more palpable to being in the country :) I appreciate it.

I decided to learn Chinese and I don’t know any Chinese teachers but a lot of people recommend me this app so I got it and it is super helpful it has funny meems and people actually talking it helped me a lot!

There’s a lot to like about this app - in particular that it’s one of the best ways to learn Chinese using a language app. I like the writing, speaking and grammar practice equally. With consistent effort, I do think it is possible to become somewhat proficient with Chinese using this app. However, it is not a substitute for real conversations. Use it along with some Chinese stimulus such as videos for true impact. The only reason why I gave it four stars is because of the paid aspect of the app. It will bring you to HSK3 the free course and the paid course HSK4. Update: I would encourage the developer to look at what I said about the app. The app itself is pretty good. I was simply rating the experience from a free user’s perspective. If I was a paid user, the rating would be five stars. I am well aware that you need to receive income from the app - it wouldn’t be sustainable otherwise! I enjoy the app, and if I had money to use the paid experience I would., but since I am a student the free version will more than suffice! 😊🙏

I love this app its very helpful and is very good at explaining EVERYTHING! I have learned a lot using this. The paid version is worth it if you are able to buy it ;)

It’s easy to use and I use it few minutes everyday to improve vocabulary and grammar. I tried another app it for me this is the best app to learn Chinese.

I’m using it for some month now, on a daily basis. I’m very happy with the content and the exercises, even with only the free part. The only reason I’m not paying for it is that I’m having real Chinese courses with a professor. It is a really good app to start learning Chinese. Thanks to the team that build and continue to improve the app !
