Wish we could customise our appearance from the start
Brilliant, simplistic and challenging
the game is ok. its done before but does have nice unique elements to it. the world is big to explore. game is not pay to win. its not dead. it feels old school and i like that. combat is straight forward and requires you to do it yourself instead of being auto. but the movement and camera is what made me uninstall. there is a button to focus camera on character but camera shake when you move makes my head hurt which isnt good and you cant zoom out enough to see things and walk far enough so going places is annoying. i think i will stick to the other game.
Big Orna vet over here. Still play it still love it. I did dabble in Aethric during the beta and wasn’t decided really on how I felt about it. Another 10 hours in and I’m still at that same point! It’s a neat game that is true to description, however I can’t throw down the 5 stars. Coming from Orna that can be as fast paced as you want it to be, jumping from one activity to another or hunting down territories or dungeon hotspots.. Aethric has felt sluggish in comparison and it’s pretty jarring. Progression doesn’t feel nearly as free form as the game’s older sibling and that’s okay! Either way, looking forward to revisiting this in the future since the devs are fantastic and maybe I’ll give it another good go.
Coming from their other game Orna, which is also a fantastic game, I needed something where I can adventure from the comfort of my home, this game scratches that itch, great content, free to play, no pay to win, what more do you need! Great work Odie and the gang!
Is good
I can’t even say how much fun it is no adds or anything. This game is a masterpiece.
Honestly the game is very fun, but when it comes to normal farming and running into basic enemies, the game desperately needs an auto attack button. Everything is so slow during combat and the game in general, it’s very difficult to play this game in short bursts because of it, which defeats the whole purpose of why people play games on mobile.
Needs backbone support
Well… I was craving for pokemon and an emulator on my phone, but Delta wasn’t released. This game takes the best part of Pokemon, Diablo, and Terraria and made it into a game. The Ascension levels (endgame) and Towers (endgame) really make the game exciting. Also the events that keep coming out. (Even if they recycled events without new events, this game would take awhile to climb.) I played for two months and have 30 days online and I still have stuff to do. I’m seriously impressed. Everything in the game that can be bought (via cash), is actually very self sustainable so you never have to spend any money for anything. In fact, most would say if you’re spending money on the game to make it playable, you’re doing it wrong. All that aside, this game is fully immersive. There are so many unique aspects about it, but the biggest strength of the game is the theory crafting. The game also comes with a class as you progress for just casual players because it’s very clear that this game has content for people who want to grind. Great game. Tons of replay value and hits on some nostalgia. I would pay for this game if it came with controls to be played on the computer.
