From the makers of the award-winning Star Realms® Deckbuilding Game, Hero Realms® combines the fun of deckbuilding games with the interactivity of trading card game-style combat. As you play, use Gold to add new actions and champions to your deck. When played, those actions and champions generate powerful effects, give you additional gold, and attack your opponent and their champions. If you reduce your opponent's health to zero, you win!
[Non-Collectible Deck Building Game]
Hero Realms does not require you to collect new cards. You start every game with a basic deck, and will acquire cards from the shared center row to build up your deck and defeat your opponent. Victory rewards skill, and not your collection of rare cards!
[Level Up Your Heroes]
Create a hero from one of several classes (free players start with the Fighter and Wizard available). Level them up with new skills, abilities and equipment, and take them to battle in thrilling Online PVP. Hero Realms uses fair match making, only allowing matches between equal levelled heroes. However, if you feel daring, you can choose to engage in combat against higher levelled opponents for additional XP and bragging rights.
[Cooperative Online Play]
Hero Realms also features online co-operative play. Battle against challenging AI bosses with another human player as a partner. Free players have access to the Pirate Lord mission, with other co-op missions available with the Base Set purchase.
[Single Player Campaign]
For offline play, take on the Welcome to Thandar campaign. Fight your way through scripted, story-based chapters against varied AI opponents.
[Free Version]
Free players will get to experience:
- Addictive Deckbuilding Game with Player VS Player Combat.
- Play VS the AI
- Play with the Fighter and Wizard character classes
- Level-up your characters up to Level 3
- Play the first 3 missions in the Welcome to Thandar campaign

Purchasing the Base Set will unlock the full Hero Realms experience:
- Unlocks hard AI difficulty level

Cannot access journeys set campaign
The store says I have purchased this already but when I try to play the campaign it is locked and says that I need to purchase it in the store. Not sure how to access this content. My character is over level 12 so it should work
Good use of $10
This app is fairly lame if you don’t buy the first expansion. I haven’t bought the other expansions yet, but I might in the future. I wish the base free version had a little more depth of play. And/or the card game had a discount code for the app to get one of the expansions
Great game, solid app
If you like deck building games, this is a good one. Enough differences between classes to allow for unique strategies that don’t get old. As for the app, it feels like a AAA experience with good gameplay, good visuals, and great music.
Great game, dumb UI decisions
Hero Realms by itself is fun. Having to click past a female gender literally every time I make a character is not. Companies that waste your time on small UI problems that are purpose-built into the game aren’t worth wasting your own time on their products.

Turn timer
The turn timer needs to be reduced- it is exhausting sitting and waiting for a player who runs the timer down, plays a card, gets more time and does this over and over turn after turn the amount of games I have just left because you are wasting time is wild. Please fix this so players stop abusing this turn timer system.

App updates every other day
It’s getting really tiring to be locked out of the app every time they have an update. Which is pretty much every other day.
App Gets Worse With Updates
It's gotten to the point where you literally can't play the game without internet which is ridiculous. Every time it automatically updates, it won't let you play unless you download new packages in game unless you disable ALL automatic updates and manually update EVERY OTHER APP on your phone, and yes this is the OFFICIAL DEVELOPER SOLUTION for this... Disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.
