So, it all started when I saw the add pop up in a game I was playing and the game looked fun in all because of the merging and when I was little I loved merging and I also like numbers a lot so I decided to play it and there was merging in the gate which was pretty fun but then I saw other stuff like the campaign where you have to fight enemies and the merchant where you can buy stuff and you can also promote your hero to be stronger and the more team level you have unlocks new things like the arena, Outland, and other things and there were a lot of people who said they spent a bunch of money but to be honest I didn’t spend any money on the game but that’s all and have a good day!

Way too many requirements of personal data to play a freaking game

Nothing like as advertised. Got a few quests in and says updating to play the quest. Or got all 3 stars for an entire few levels. Still no quests/challenges.

The game starts off fun enough, quickly acquiring new characters, leveling up and progressing through the game. However, the game quickly devolves, as a free to play player, into hours of grinding just to promote one player. For example, I started the day with 110 points of energy and required 3 dragon heart fragments to finish upgrading a piece of equipment to promote my player. Needless to say, it took all my energy. You never have enough resources which also increases your time required to progress. Ultimately, I’m getting annoyed and frustrated with the game and will probably quit playing soon!

Been playing for few months and at first it was slow going. You can pass the time as a play-for-free participant but you’ll have to spend some $$ to really compete or be an asset to a guild. My only complaint is the “free” gems gimmick that the developers allow in the bottom icon bar. It claims that if you pick an app and make a purchase or try a new game or product, that you’ll be awarded in-game gems as a reward. Well, so far for me it’s just been a scam that wasted my time. I’ve done it twice. Downloaded a game accomplished the goal…and guess what…over a month later and still no gems. Of course support said that I didn’t put my information in correctly or that the rewards can take a few days. Well, there is not prompt or place to put any “information” when you choose these hoaxes and a month is more than a few days. So don’t be fooled by the prospect of 56,000 gems to try a new game, because, as far as I can tell, you won’t get so much as a “Thanks for playing” let alone a single gem.

It’s pretty good

I’ve been playing this game for well over a year now and at first, it was great! Fun graphics, very competitive, all that jazz. Now that the Hero’s Way went from $10.00 to $20.00 every 28 days, it’s ridiculous. And you can tell who pays and who does not pay. Especially if you’re in a guild. The ones that pay have over 5,000 guild points per day!! And the ones that do not pay have around 200-800 guild points. The ones that pay are able to beat the ones that can’t afford to pay for a game that was/is NOT advertised as a pay-to-win type game. And to the developer responding with the copy and paste message about me contacting support so I can give them free input, no thank you. I know where the support button is and if I thought it would put Hero’s way back to an affordable level and make the Nexters appreciate their Hero Wars patrons a little, then I would click support. But you all aren’t going to fix it, so we (it’s more than just me - look at all the comments about the cost now! Especially on Reddit!) will just inform any new players how the game will cost them a small fortune if they decide to get anywhere or actually want to win a round or two. I doubt you guys even read this feedback as it is. Matter of fact, if you even read this, do not respond and ask me to contact support. I’m willing to bet I’ll get the contact support message because they do not care to even read our feedback. There is NO sense in downloading this unless you are willing to pay around $300-$500 USD per month or MORE. Ridiculous for a “free play” game.
