SUBSCRIPTION TERMS
HeyFood offers an optional 'Pro' auto-renewable subscription service. It renews each month following a 7 day free trial period.
• Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase
• Three subscription durations are available: monthly, quarterly or yearly, during which users will be able to access HeyFood's premium features
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal
• Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable

Cant use

Would love to use the app as it looks like it exactly what I was looking for. Started well, it asked for my preferences allergies etc. My profile was set up. I then added my daughter, all looked fine. I am gluten and dairy free, my daughter dairy free. Problems started when it came to start getting recipes. I found that my preference resulted in very few or no recipes. Fair enough. Because there are so many substitutes for dairy and products with gluten, I thought that I’d just edit my profile so it wouldn’t have gluten and dairy free, then I can just amend any recipes with substitutions. I went into my profile to edit it. This seemed straight forward as it seemed I just needed to deselect my allergies and save the changes. I did this then redid my recipe search, still noting came up. When back into my profile and found that my changes had reverted back to the original so I tried again, and again and again; this obviously didn’t work. So I though I’d try deleting and reinstalling the app to see if this would resolve the inability to edit my profile. I reinstalled the app then realised as it came to me to sign back in that I’d forgotten my password so I sent a password reset request. I have sent a password reset request 4 times and am yet to receive an email to allow me to do this. I even tried to reregister but obviously my email is already recognised. So all in all not a great experience. I would like the app but it seems the app does not want me, which is a shame 😞

Exactly what I was looking for

Finally I found an app that is exactly doing what I was looking for. The app provides a recipe collection - as well as the option to import recipes from the web. And I can set up a household with different preferences.

Free version is not worth bothering with

I downloaded this thinking it would be exactly what I had been looking for. Unfortunately the free version is slow and not very useful :( you can’t is the online shopping function and many other functions when you try to click them the subscription screen pops up. If you have the 6 quid a month then it would probably be better but such a limited selection of recipes I won’t bother.

Matches to your tastes and cooking instructions are clear & accurate. I’ve cooked four recipes so far and they have all been super tasty. A great start!

Good concept poor excecution.

I was pretty impressed with the app until I realised half the ingredients from the recipies are missing when automatically loading to your local grocery store. Recipies themselves are tasty but the tech behind the app is a let down.

Only just started with the app but the recipes look easy to follow and give different options with normal ingredients

Deleted!!

Took my yearly subscriptions then when I cancelled still took it🤔 emailed and got ignored!!!!!

Rubbish

It keeps telling me my email address is invalid. It isn’t! Have uninstalled

Wow what can I say, what a fab and very clever invention! An easy to navigate app that is very useful when needing a little inspiration. Great in every way , cannot fault the app! Definitely worth a try.
