HID Reader Manager

Be very careful using this version. Sometimes it drops the last character in the reader name.

App upgraded and all my saved template’s disappeared. To make matters worse, when I try and create new templates to replace them the app won’t let me. The template has to be assigned to a category and the app has a bug that will not let you add to categories. I’m completely at a loss as to why you would release something that has clearly been so poorly tested. This is another brick in the wall as to why looking at HID alternatives makes more sense.

This app has not gotten better, with each release it seems that more is required from me, the end user, and less from HID. Why do you need my location, what happened to Templates? After upgrading to to the latest version all my saved templates are gone, I’m no longer able to add a template, due to the inability to select a required Category even though I’ve created 15+ categories. In its current state the app is next to useless.

Such a helpful app. But now it just crashes every time I open my templates so I can’t use it. This makes it extremely difficult to utilize reliably! Please help!

This app is useless unless you want to enable location services. I can see why it could be a feature but why force me to turn it on? In the days of security breaches and ransom hacks I’m not sure my customers (especially the ones that make me sign an NDA) would appreciate me allowing you to keep a database of what, where and how your readers are configured for them. I expect more from a company leader in the security industry.

I have an iCLASS SE reader with an RP10 bluetooth module plugged in. When I go to inspect the reader it spins for 15 seconds then force closes the App. Extremely frustrating. This happens on BOTH android and iOS.

East to use and way better than the configuration card! Great selling point!

All I can do is name the readers. App crashes.
