High Rise - A Puzzle Cityscape

This game has a cute minimalistic charming art style, but you wouldn’t play this for hours on end. I recommend playing “suburb” difficulty since it gives you a quick fun five minute game

I loved this game so much for years. Today I updated the app and lost my high score of over 40, 000. This shouldn’t happen. It’s also so slow and clumsy now.

Rather than forcing ads down people’s throats this beautiful and creative game gives you the option to pay a reasonable amount to support the dev. The game itself is very nice and fun but it quickly becomes tedious. You don’t really feel like it was time well spent.

I’m not gonna lie… this game took me a while to understand, but once you get it YOU CANT STOP! I’m not a big gamer by any means but this game is so satisfying

I’ve been playing this game for literal years. One of the reasons I always keep it on my phone is how smoothly it runs, it just makes it such a pleasure to play. The lack of ads were formerly a huge plus too, but I figured that wouldn’t be forever. I hadn’t played for a few months, and it seems in that time many more options/modes have been added (great! Been hoping that would happen someday!), but the game runs pretty rough (not so great). A lot of glitching when spinning the board, lagging so the blocks fall in the wrong place, freezing, etc. Not sure if the issue is my phone, but I’m not having trouble with anything else.

I’ve downgraded my rating from 5 stars. I bought it because it was a simple, cool and addictive puzzle. Now, it has lots more options but also an annoying message every time about collecting personal info. Even worse, the weighted randomness of the initial board and subsequent blocks has been changed, so games aren’t as fun anymore. Too bad people have to tinker with what was working just fine.

Now, instead of being limited to a single grid size of 5 squares wide by 5 squares up / down, you’re able to choose between: 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6 and 7x7! 😀 Undo! (For those that use.) Zen mode! To play potentially endlessly! (Without scoring.) Thank you more times all, that I am able to type! For those who thought this game is worth more money?? We can now donate to them!! (Done, minutes after updating.)

If u want to relax on a Saturday afternoon, this game is wade for you! I love it.

Love the idea! Fun game. For those complaining about ads, after the game is finish just click on “how to” and then skip the tutorial. Bam! You start a new game without watching the ad.

This game is adorable. It doesn’t spam you with ads like other games, it just gives you one or two after you finish a game, and honestly it’s really considerate. They give an explanation why they need to give you ads too so it’s not just “Here’s some ads!” There’s a pop up menu that asks you if you’re ready to ply another game and it gives you an ad when you click yes, but I’m just so happy that they think about their supporters. I was having a rough week this week and I got this game and it 100% helped. It’s calming and it’s not one of those games where you throw your device when you die. You can just start a new game and it gives you an ad, but honestly, it feels good to help the developers. They’re hella considerate of their supporters. I 10/10 recommend this game!
