High School Escape

I got through all levels, and around level 10, I had to purchase to continue. Overall, the game is puzzling, but with having half the game locked, I just don’t see it’s potential.

(5 stars just bc it’s not that bc I’m aware it is old)I’m aware this game is old but I’ve downloaded years ago and couldn’t get to the next level bc I had to pay and deleted and reinstalled years later just to find out I still have to pay, even tho years ago I did pay and nothing happen also the walkthroughs don’t even work

I was enjoying this game. The puzzles are challenging but not too difficult. I like to play in the evening to relax before bed. I got thru the first 8 levels without needing hints but got stuck on the 9th. After trying repeatedly to add the can from the safe to the battery, where it obviously goes. I decided that it won’t let me because I needed to find the 2nd can first. I have the components for the black light so that it lights up. I’m assuming you use the black light to expose the 4 digit code that’s needed to open the briefcase and that the second can is inside the briefcase. However, I have tried the black light on every scene in the room to no avail. There are no other objects to pick up and no where else that has a 4 digit code. Finally, I decided I must be missing something obvious. I tried watching the walkthrough video but all you get is a 30 second ad then it jumps back to the Hint screen or kicks me completely out of the game and I have to start Level 9 over. This would be a fun, relaxing game if it actually worked. I’m 90% sure that in addition to the bug that is preventing the walkthrough video there are bugs in Level 9 that prevent you from finishing the level.

The puzzles for the first five levels are relatively simply and fun. At the end of the fifth level, the room is inescapable and the walkthrough videos don’t work. You just get stuck in an ad watching loop. I went ahead and paid for no ads, but the walk through still doesn’t appear. Very disappointing.

The graphics are not as good as I thought they would be and the hit boxes of the different areas are way too big!!!! I try to click something else and it just goes wrong!!!!! About eight minutes of playing this stupid game has driven me insane!!!!!! Also another review I saw had a similar problem to me! No help. There is no help, if you watch an ad it brings me to a walkthrough and then just deletes it right before my very eyes!!! I just can’t let all my anger out!!!!!!!

I downloaded the game because of the reveries and when I had opened the game it shut down and didn’t let me play. I tried opening it again and it just kept happening.

The rooms or scenes are full of mildly challenging puzzles. There are independent walk through videos on youtube if you get really stuck. If you leave a scene, your progress is lost. Normally this would be a deal-breaker, but the scenes are short so when that happened I just quickly redid my previous work. At a certain point I was offered to buy more content and did; that was a mistake as 5 dollars (!) only seemed to unlock a few more rooms… play the free stuff, forget the four bonus rooms and get a coffee instead.

This game seriously made up my childhood, so I decided to download it again. I completed all the levels and enjoyed them all as I had a blast through the past. One thing is the walkthrough. The walkthrough doesn’t work no matter how many ads you watch, but I still love the game!
