Loved an old feature where you could see all the existing routes in dotted red even from the island view, now you have no idea if there’s a route nearby or how many small routes in the area and the routes disappear if you try to make a map bigger to see the surroundings. Going back to mapsme, unfortunately
I hike regularly and HiiKER is the best app. Good maps and excellent support.
App simple does not work even after paying premium Was contacted by the developer but he was unable to explain why the app didn’t work so i deleted it.

Hiker is a great. Anybody taking to the hills should have this App. Great for pre planning a trip. The East West maps are a great advantage when hiking in Ireland. The relocation button is really useful. I always use hiker and have also used it abroad in Italy and France and have never failed to pick a decent route. Once you get to used to using it it’s a great way to spend an evening planning and plotting routes. It opens up so much possibilities on the mountains and is a real time saver. I would recommend anyone going on the hills to have Hiker and learn to use it.
Hiiker is easily the best digital mapping app for Ireland as it is the only one that contains the EastWest Maps, which cover all the major mountain regions of Ireland. For other hiking, cycling, driving etc. areas in Ireland the app switches seamlessly to OSI.
HiiKER is a great app for plotting and recording routes. I was so impressed with the free version that I purchased the Pro+ version, mainly to access East West maps. HiiKER Pro+ appeared on my iPhone instantly but the Pro+. version didn’t register on my PC. so, I contacted Eoin on the messaging service. Within an hour the problem was solved. It was very reassuring being able to contact a reliable resource. Thanks Eoin

I have found this app so useful when out and about regardless of whether locally or exploring abroad, or even just planning routes. Can’t recommend highly enough.
Not impressed. Cant ever find a hike when I m on location. It’s a pity because I really thought this was a good idea. Very bad UX and readability.
