Update
Since update i’m unable to connect to device and logon credentials no longer work. reinstalling app, creating new account or trying another device does not change this. It looks like Hikvision have changed not only the App but something backend (This corresponds to around same time backend changed for cross app compatibility change between HikConnect, EZVIZ and ProControl - all products within Hikvision family that incorporates Hikvision, EZVIZ and Pyronix). This has basically rendered my dashcam useless. I have experienced a few issues since having a Hikvision Dashcam, all reported to Hikvision, no reply to any of them. No resolution from Hikvision several months later. I hope i’m an isolated case and have started looking at a replacement and will stay away from Hikvision Dashcams in the future.
